I forgot my iced tea in the kitchen and I just had really spicy eggs for breakfast, so I'm going to have to go to the kitchen to drink that tea because my mouth is on fire!

Be back in a minute.

PS - Thank you Cryptic for the FF slot sale! :D

Nope, nothing at all to do with that. Purely and simply because of my impotent rage and desire to stamp my feet (very quietly).

Scones are too essential for a lot of builds - they get combined with butter, with jam, even with various kinds of gravy if the sugarless "American Biscuit" option is used.

Don't nerf them, or far too many meals will be ruined.

    WTF Cryptic!?!?!?!

Bacon needs a nerf. It's everywhere, and sausage and ham DESPERATELY need a pass.

Also, why is there an Orange Juice Option with Pulp Advantage, but Milk has NO advantage except 'Calcium' which isn't even worth it.

Also, when are Grits going to get some love?

Don't you dare. I might agree that bacon is op and has no disadvantages but it is fine that way. Everything is better with bacon.

Don't be stupid. Do you know how many people are using bacon? It's ridiculous. Either put ham and sausage on par with it, or nerf it. You might as well call it Bacon Online if everyone's going to just use this.

This is more of the people who are using this just bawling because they're afraid someone may nerf their unstoppable unkillable Bacon-Eggs-Biscuit builds. There's NO SKILL required to use it, so don't act like you're good at breakfast because you can use bacon.

Nerf bacon or boost Sausage and Ham by at least 20%.

Sausage does not need a buff, it is simply not meant for breakfast. Ham works fine in ham and eggs. You can even combine ham and eggs with some bacon on the side. Add some toast... now we are talking.

But that's the point- you can choose bacon on its own and throw anything else into the mix, still OP. Sausage works with some German builds if you use the Bratwurst advantage, but even then it STILL needs a buff as it is. Ham is just outright neglected aside from the few useless Spiral Cut/Honey Baked builds. Either way, with Ham and Sausage you NEED to combine them with something, Bacon does not require this.

So, don't sit here and tell me that 'Bacon is Good as it is and Ham and Sausage are fine if you cobble them together with some other crap'. That DEFINES unbalanced. Both Ham AND Sausage desperately need the buff to put them on par with Bacon. You're just one of those gamers that uses something and doesn't want it touched, or even worse- you can't stand for something to be on the same level as your precious Bacon.

Breakfast imbalance is killing this game. This is why people go to Denny's and CO is in its death throes.

It shouldn't. Bacon DPS is pretty much a one-trick pony.

But Eggs Benedict Tank Builds are good, even though I think Hash Browns are a bit wonky and don't mesh as well as I'd like.

    Congratulations
I wa just starting to eat breakfast while reading the forums, Thankfully, stopped at Spinny's second post or I would have sprayed the screen.
So has anything changed overnight since I last played?(which since most patches happen overnight for me, is actually a valid question)
    No nerfs to breakfast,
Big breakfast AT should always be
    Eggs, fried 2 of
    bacon , slices 2 of
    sausages, 2 of
    fried tomatoes, 2 of
    baked beans, half a cup
Toast, as much as you can eat

Tea or coffee, your choice of energy builder

none of this fried mushrooms crap,
    or croissants.
english muffins are for morning tea or light lunch.american muffins are more accurately small sponge cakes and should not be in breakfast
Ok now that my brain is completely off the track

I have to disagree, Baked beans give a much better AOE. Pudding is better for melee single target... well except the thrown ones.

Actually sausage is a far more common build in german speaking countries that bacon. And while Bratwurst is quite popular there are better builds around. Like Currywurst for example.

The Carb Debuff system needs to be looked at, frankly it is OP.

Carb Damage in this game will easily become the next FoTM, it not only dramatically reduces Dodge/Avoid Values, Damage Strength and Movement Speed but it stacks to an infinite amount.

Each stack has a very long duration and you need to have Acrobatics or Super Speed to be able to get rid of it.

I think as a whole The Food Power set should be looked at in great detail, especially Unleashed Carb Storm, the Carb Damage is seriously OP.

nah Waffles are no good. The CC mechanics of them rely too much on syrup and Icecream ADV.
Pancakes are easier to stack and use all at once.
Plus if you take them with Enraged, you can do Rnaged AOE damage with them.

Leave Carbs alone, just because you can't handle the extra ((gas)) power from them, doesn't mean it should be nerfed.

next you'll be saying Brocolli and brussels sprouts in the Meat and Veg power set need to be nerfed because of their High Fibre ADV.
(who hasn't made a pancake stack glued together with sticky sauce of choice and sliced through, making a mess all over their plate . mmm num nums)

As for the pancakes, try the little different Palatschinke version. It's kind of a jack of all trades, you can combo with a great many things. Even works with soup.

No 'Fold' advantage with a waffle to create a Breakfast Taco synergy, Waffle only has 'Syrup Retention' ability.

Ok, so last night I went on the Test Server and came up with a DPS/Tank Breakfast that out DPS's every pure DPS breakfast I've eaten so far. As always, the key is in the build. Here are the highlights:

Obviously for an energy builder we start with Milk. Rank 1 gets you 2% which effectively raises your overall energy by 2%, while Rank 3 Fat Free gets you 3% with 3% recovery thrown in. Worth it!

Next up we have Eggs. I go with the 0 point advantage 'Scrambled'. This adds 'Bleed', which is handy when you add the 3 pt advantage 'Hot Sauce'. Hot Sauce trades 50% of your damage for toxic damage and adds another 25% damage to targets affected by bleed. And you will know your enemies by their screams...

That sets us up for Bacon. The only power that could solo Gravitar alone. By itself. Without even using any utensils. Make sure to use the Applewood Smoked Advantage. This provides a taunt aspect and increases range from melee to 50' ranged. Be prepared, because you can easily pull everything on the map (even friendlies!)

I'm currently using Waffle with Maple Goodness for a def boost, but that might change. Or not. I'm not sure. No, yes I am. Wait....

My active defense is Grits. Pure resistance boost. Obviously I've given it the the "True" Shield advantage.

The best Energy Unlock for this breakfast is "OJ" It doesn't have the peak boost that Dr Pepper gives you, but the energy over time is far superior.

For a buff, I use "Aspect of the Breakfast in Bed". This gives another boost in energy, and increases your recharge rate. Good when soloing but best when in a group, as it's a team buff.

Although most people consider it useless, I find "Breakfast Breath" to be way beyond useful. On it's own, not that effective, but with the "Coffee" advantage it becomes very potent. If you can afford the points, get that and the "Cigarette" advantage as well. This makes BB epic. Truly Epic. I think it might be broken though, since every time I've used this, nothing ever respawns. Ever. Even the next day. It's a perma-room clearer. Maybe the Devs should look at this?

You can pretty much put anything else you want on this breakfast as long as you have these choices. As-is, it's so potent that I have gotten rid of all my gear and am running no primary or secondary stats, and I can't even tell. Overpowered? No not really. Ok, maybe in a Superboy-Prime-spending-100-years-in-a-the-center-of-a-yellow-sun kind of way. Does it need to be nerfed? Heck no! It's good eatin'!
