  • Time for me to (go back) and try STO. Hope my character is still there. Hmmmm...only 11GB in patches. (The above shows how long its been since I played. Glad I'm LT...wonder how many goodies I'll get logging in?)
  • Massive. I had to leave after being stuck getting the red message over and over like 10 times. Completely unable to function/play.
  • And to add, just leveled a "Nepenthe" build to 40 although I tweaked just a touch (swapped out summon shadows for theme). Really enjoyable chain build. Now about "PsiLencer"...THAT is a thing of beauty. It can't even be appreciated written out. It's something that just needs to be experienced and it plays so well....deadly…
  • Rousey? No way. I still want Katee Sackhoff. I'm a Marvel guy, but I'm liking BvS so I will see it. Dark or not. I suspect the teaser is darker to hide things a bit. We're like a year out still. Anyway I like what DC is doing. Sure they are the second horse or third (Star Wars), but competition is good. More superhero…
  • I'm pretty sure it's not a matter of just opening the doors, because if so then TB would have had them finished long ago before he left. And if we're taking votes...my vote to expanding hideouts is dead last on the list. I would rather see anything done in the game before hideouts expanded. They are "neato" for all of…
  • I agree with the above. Also running alerts or to and from hideouts/power house I get that a lot too since recent changes.
  • What I got was Bobby and Mack have some secret happening like maybe a splinter SHIELD group or maybe even allegiance to the Gen. Talbot. As Bobby said...we're not Hydra. They could still be good guys, but don't believe the new SHIELD is going about things the right way. That's more the feeling I have. As for Mack, I'm…
  • As long as the stretchy gets fixed (the worst part of the coat for me) the length is a pretty non-issue. I liked the long and I like the short. It puts me on the fence. There...that's my opinion and would be nice if others simply gave their opinion of what they would like and left the name-calling out. What I find the…
  • Over the last 5-6 weeks I've noticed DRAMATIC IMPROVEMENT in the game. I was getting heavy heavy lag at any tailor or in my shared bank. Major lag during battles (certain power effects seemed to be a cause) Occasional disconnects...random and really never more than one in a 4-6 hour gaming period. It even was at the point…
  • Had a build with Medical Nanites (R3), IDF (R3), and Redirected Force (R3)...using the circle of energy (name escapes me) and that equaled a team that never went down. Any damage that made it by RF and IDF...which wasn't much, was almost insta-healed by the Nanites. With the circle up and the right stats, you can power RF…
  • This was an interesting thread to find today, especially since there was a whole thread and discussion about it started by Cryptic what...two-three weeks prior? As people have stated, you put the price tag in there. You could look at how PayPal defines it ($12) or Visa ($20). In GTA they made tons of money using this model…
  • Super super fav of mine too and a comic I've read multiple times. I'd go with Manhunter too.
  • I'd have to say please don't change whatever recent fix went in. For the last few months at the tailor or my shared hideout bank have been s-l-o-w with lag every time I use them and suddenly for this last week they have been completely fine. I hope that stays fixed.
  • Gas grenades too that I remember. Had a full stealth character for awhile and just recently changed his powerset, but thought I had gas grenades. Can test that if you're going that route.
  • Lots of great discussion here and I'll say from my end I started running Rampages just to get Justice gear. Somewhere about the 20 run mark I thought "maybe I'm not in the right place?" so I went back to Drifter and re-read all the tips thinking I was being stupid. In the 40 run range I started asking in Zone if the drops…
  • Just a personal disagree here. I would actually run them with a 3-day incentive. As it is I have run about 80 or so total rampages and here's my progress: 10 Salvage - have these from lockboxes I guess, but never anywhere else 2 Petrified Scales - haven't seen one 2 Superdense Diamonds - no clue 2 Hypercooled Ignimbrites -…
  • Yeah the option (I missed it too at first) shows up ABOVE the eyewear/goggles option instead of below so its easy to miss on the left "ladder" navigation in the tailor. Combined with various heads, helms, and face/mouth/side pieces you can have some great effects.
  • Ahh a much better list. :) Oh and you're right then Jon, I thought we had those somewhere or they are unlocks I have that are very similar, but who knows...I'll probably need to make a Diesel Punk character to go with the nice vehicles. June 2014 - Speedster Goggles - I use them a lot and great with the lens options. July…
  • I agree. The first month - the speedster goggles were fantastic and I use them a lot. One of the best in the game. Then the Liberty Crown thingy...ok. Then a Pilgrim hat, Hockey Stick both rather meh. This latest thought, the Stovepipe hat and beard, I was like "don't we already have those?"
  • I received one as well..."Origin Account password help" was the email, but yeah they used my old username from before PW integration. It basically said someone requested a new password, but wasn't me. I still have the email and would be happy to forward it if needed.
  • It should be under Power Armor gold freeform choices.
  • Eye glow? As in the eye auras purchased in the store are going to work? Like to know more about the "muscle slider support on some patterns" too.
  • Yeah, well publish date was 2004, so must be the second one.
  • Lemurian power armor...no wonder I was thinking that. I does look a bit familiar from the front only I thought, but the rest of the set seemed to be what I remember from in game. Here's another shot. For background...this unnamed warrior is a Plodex on their homeworld and was the one who had the idea for the warrior…
  • Ahhh, I kept thinking Lemurian armor. I haven't been able to look in game, but seemed so familiar when I saw it. Even that belt seemed familiar. Guess I found some of the inspiration for it. FYI: Marvel Comics Alpha Flight #3 (2004)
  • I've been playing a new favorite lately and getting quite a few comments. NANOSHARK
  • Interesting and #6 is far better than #1, which I read and yet had no idea what was going on for quite a bit. #6 has a better start, but the fonts are tricky like where the doctor shouts "Get him ready for surger-y!" and other disjointed spots. Second and probably my only real issue with everything would be having an…
  • All the ones I've heard of are here Jon http://blogs.wsj.com/speakeasy/2014/10/16/a-schedule-of-superhero-movies-through-2020/ May 2016 for X-men Apolcalypse
  • Not sure exactly why you think I've never run an alert or why an alert has to generate an "it's your problem" attitude. I've mentioned the new influx of players a few times and they are the people getting screwed. Ever watch a Grimiore at level 14 get stuck behind the first three on those smash alerts? I have. Wasn't fun…
  • So I guess all new people playing in the last couple months and toons that can't fly are all chumps. Yeah, like I said...seems to be the new "thing" to screw other people over. Takes what? A quick stop with other people to drop those first three and then lure out the boss? Yeah so hard to do... The point is some people…
  • I find it super annoying that this is the new "thing" to do. I've seen a few newer plays get totally screwed and left behind. Of course this happens in the smash alerts now too where you fight 3 tough henchmen first and people are just flying over them to the boss. And in other grab alerts, seems like run for the boss is…
  • I still remember in the beginning.... I would fly to the bosses and enjoy a battle and get a good reward. In some cases early on I even got repeatedly facerolled by a gate boss until I learned timing and so on and last time I still saw newer players get dropped, but people learn and you know what? They get decent loot out…
  • I'd been getting huge (and I mean huge) lag spikes too last weekend. I was able to make things a bit better hardwired and not on wifi, but prior to Mechanon...I never really had any lag at all and always played on wifi. I haven't played this week as a result because it happened all the time. Just running around Ren Center…
  • Chestpiece (the wires) is the cybernetic one. It's only just the wires and the plugs, but the chest itself shows through and I think its a standard cyborg upper body. Ealford was right though...most of the rest is tesla and steampunk and a few other odd pieces with the steampunk option...like his left boot and left leg…
  • I really thought that purple monster was a ringer for the muscle tights given out for October rewards when I saw him. ;) Was thinking that would give him some texture at the very least.
  • First, love the builds. I've tried a few and they all play very well and very fun. Drifter is possibly one of my favorites (Starlight, Manhunter, Ulyssa rank very high) and for any newer players...try it. It's super durable. Second, "Adventures of the Galaxy Rangers"? Coolness factor went up by a power of 10. Looking…
  • Yep, I've had 6 or so since Friday. It's the game and not your machine. I'm running high specs and mine still crashes to desktop every 3 Mechanon battles or so.

  • Run it 3 times...never seen a spider and people say there is no way to survive a Mega D at all. Really? So is getting one-shot multiple times the ONLY way to get through this event?
  • Thank you for starting this. My question...how do you survive a few seconds? Block or not...range or not...the Mega D's one-shot you. I actually fought Mechanon and survived the whole fight and we won....I actually felt like I did something on that one.
  • Fandral is a swordsman and Balder was known for being smaller (faster) hence his protection from being killed. How about lesser known Zoran, son of Odin and God of Speed.
  • Vanguard Bar & Grill (First US orbital attempt and Vanguard has dual meaning) Magic Dragon Orbit Lounge (after the 1963 song AND the namesake of the first commercially-built and operated spacecraft to be recovered successfully from orbit...Dragon by SpaceX, you'll see a lot more about it in the future with NASA launches)
  • Not that the cost was a big enough deal for me to really say anything... more like grumbling acceptance, but I get that people are more upset at the principal of the matter. I'd been building my library of toons and using the handy "all" button in my shared bank to collect and buy some auction house items. To find out that…
  • Ahhh thanks much...I haven't tuned one so I didn't know it would change the binding to an account level. Makes sense I suppose although I have yet to use a vehicle for anything other than RP lol.
  • Did I miss something? The shuttle I got was character specific and couldn't be put in the bank.
  • This is fantastic! Thanks much!
  • Just had to bookmark this thread and say thanks for some great info and inspiration. I mean I have 45+ toons and very little knowledge of Champions Lore. Thanks much!
  • supercalafragalisticexpialadoshus = It would take a desktop PC about 391 octillion years to crack your password True story.
  • This logic doesn't work for me. I can't tell you how many times I bought costumes in the early days in the C-Store only to have them go on sale a few weeks later. When I ranted about it her, the vast majority pretty much told me to STFU and that sales happen so deal with it. I suppose the same applies here then. If they…
  • It would take a desktop PC about 345 thousand years to crack your password Turns out Caliga and all the first letters of his tagline to make "caligatsoartmoak" is a tough one to crack. Who knew? Still...KempoJujitsusBuildsRule would take 23 sextillion years. Ahhh good Wednesday fun. :)
