Wow, the devs really do exist. This is like going your entire adult life snickering and laughing at the deluded children who still believe in Santa Claus. Still a bit angry and biter because he never did give you that pony you so desperately wanted. Only to suddenly find out that, Santa really does exist. And he just came…
Thats not a HUGE power button on the front of the suit is it? Id think that would be a pretty serious design flaw  Design flaw aside, its an awesome costume
Over in the Neverwinter side of the world. Their queue system wont even form up a party until it can place a tank and a healer in the group first. In that game a balanced party is more of a requirement for success. However, the end result is, all its done is made the queue wait times obscene. So, the question is, problems…
I counted, there are 5 players. And I'm pretty sure a few of them are alts of the same person. I reached this number, not because, this is how high I can only count to. But because this is as far as I got before getting bored, distracted, and stopped counting. So yea, the number is 5. Its pretty much as good as any other…
Facts and proper lore has no place in my delusions. So while I am aware you are saying words, Im going to ignore them and continue to believe in wild illogical conspiracies manufactured from lack of sleep and and slight insanity. You shall not burst my bubble!
And that right there, seems to be part of the problem. If you are relying on packaged costume parts as the main focus of your theme. You are kinda missing the whole point. If I could only make a Santa using only Santa parts. What exactly would I be judged on in a contest? My appropriate use of parts? The colors I chose? In…
In all honesty, I think you are over reacting. Im going to start off by saying that I don't go to CC's. I'm not part of any clique or "In crowd" and I'm certainly not popular enough bother with them. So I'm not saying this in defense of anyone. But looking at your costume, I can honestly see why you didn't win. Its nothing…
Hey, and in Neverwinter the big bad is like a female version of Necrull, or Mumm-Ra. That would by default make her, She-Ra. And as we all know She-Ra is a master of the universe...So, if we crack the code and follow it to its only possible conclusion. Cryptic is trying to master the universe!
This didn't happen to me. No one bothers to talk to me...they know better *scowls*. But I did watch it happen in front of me. Pervert: "I have a job for you but it's a little dirty." Character that looks like a 10 year old girl: "i dont care" P: "Well, I'm willing to pay you 5 silver if we go have sex." C: "i just need new…
I get a special giggle out of the few angry foundry authors. You know the ones, the bitter angry "I hate cryptic" "I hate this game" types. That feel their vision and genius are so powerful that they are doing the world and the game a favor by sharing it. And by forcing themselves to slave away at this horrific game to do…
This right there is one of the main turn offs for me. And one of the main reason I still love CO. No one here cares what you play. No one here cares if stats, dps, or what have you is in the top 1% of the server. You can play what you like, how you like and do well. NW is toxic in this respect. You have to be the right…
Yea that image looks odd. The game can do much better. Ill admit, I was fully prepared to hate the game. Up until actually playing it. All the videos, and screenshots had me convinced I was going to hate the style. Ive actually grown fond of it however. It has a unique look, realistic but not dull. And managing to stay out…
Ill be honest, I dont know whats deserved or not. Only Cryptic can answer that. And they wont talk. But just as a fly on the wall reading this. Im left wondering how anyone "completely" innocent and undeserved knows so many details about the exploit, what caused it, and who was really behind it. I simply cant follow anyone…
To be fair, there is more then that. However, the armor does follow a predictable pattern. Below 60 there are 4 appearance brackets, about every 15 levels. When you cross into a new bracket, the armors within the set shift fairly dramatically. Even the item icon changes to reflect this. Within each bracket there seems to…
Id frowny face over this. But im afraid so much open display of emotion might be enough to cause the servers to esplode! So, I shall confine my indignation to this by thinking inappropriate thoughts, directed randomly.
If they allow Bears with machineguns. The next step is Sharks with laser's. You gota draw a line in the sand and stop the insanity before it gets out of hand. You know, start small. Like Racoons with hand grenades.
The mounts are also account wide. Depending on the number of characters you have, they can be a bargain. Honestly, I dont understand why folks always seem to use the mounts as evidence of over charging. The pets and the bags, items that cost similar amounts but are single character/use, are the items that are WAY over…
Yea, I think the general out pouring of hatred over how the event was handled. Combined with how badly it played out on test. And the fact that we no longer have anyone who was connected with it still working on the CO team. Pretty much equals project killed.
I would share my opinion on this. But in order for anyone to see it, it will cost you a key. There is a 5% chance said opinion will be both snarky and funny. Good luck!
This exactly. There is, sadly, much bitterness out there. However that alone should say something. Its not hate. The real haters have gone a long long time ago. Its mostly disappointment and frustration that is fueling the bitterness. It speaks highly of both a community and a game that can still generate such emotion. the…
Hey, if stealing from CO is CO's sole usefulness in the grand Cryptic plan. I wont complain. Useful things generally don't get the axe. Id rather be a living organ donor, then a cold corpse.
Heck there are folks in NW already crying that the game is dead... http://nw-forum.perfectworld.com/showthread.php?381222-Game-is-dead&p=4825982&viewfull=1#post4825982 Just one recent example.
Easy, you toss a replica phaser, a vintage first print edition of "Unearthed Arcana", and a set of "Hulk fists" into the pit and see what one they pick up first.
Am I the only one who thought that this topic actually seems like the making of a cage match? Toss a comic book guy, trekkie, and D&D nerd into a pit. Perhaps sprinkle in a few thematic weapons and televise it on cable. Id pay money to watch that!
Heathen! How could you not love a telepathically controlled flying buzzsaw of doom?! Its so awesome, they had to tell the hero not to use it till the final boss. Only because the movie would of been really dull if the hero could of just buzzsawed his way past all the mooks, solo, without even trying hard. It was a fun…
There was talk about adding a queue system for all the lairs. However, like most things. it was never finished, left half done and finally ignored. I believe some lairs have it, most dont.
I think its annoying to call anyone that. Regardless of size. Its not sweet or endearing. Its a euphemism and as such should ONLY be reserved for people you know well, and are comfortable saying it too and having it said too. Any euphemism, directed a perfect stranger, is often grounds for a justifiable swift kick in the…
"Fame? Nah. It's an empty purse. Count it, go broke. Eat it, go hungry. Seek it, go mad!" The Sockmunkey needs no fame. I prefer to lurk and watch from a distance with my patented "creepy" stare!
My tone came off harsher then intended. My comments where not meant as a slam against Cryptic. Just that, as a company, have seem to made design choices that put PVP as secondary. One does not go to Ferrari for cheap, fuel efficient, and reliable. So you don't judge Ferrari by Volvo standards. They have different goals and…
Check out the state of PVP over in STO...its ok, Ill wait. Now go check out PVP over in NW. Now ask yourself, where PVP in CO is going to rate among all that. Cryptic has never been PVP centric. At best they are PVP light. They do just enough to say that their games have PVP and little else beyond that.
But but bu...whats wrong with hoods?! I think they can be kinda nifty *points at AV* Now im gonna be all self conscience and dejected. BTW, the face on your character is AMAZING. I'm going to continue to hide in my hood, on account of me not being worthy.
A mod? Really? I'm not one to judge anyone by post count. However, Id like to think, that to at least qualify, as a mod. One would need to be fairly well established in the community. Something more then say, 31 posts. Just saying.
