Since it's my birthday, I've decided to make "The Ring of Void" available for free for three days. You can check it out here: http://www.amazon.com/dp/B00Q3GX2QE/ As mentioned in previous posts, it's based on one of my CO characters, Shinnosuke Yamagami.
Also, I wrote a book based on Shinnosuke Yamagami! You can find the Ring of Void here. The book is divorced from the Champions Online universe, but two characters that originated as player characters in CO (Shinnosuke and Mirth) are in it. Here's the fancy cover art, by Pagoda Comics.

That's while Therakiel's Temple is so enjoyable. I suggest Cryptic North take a look at all the non-Dracul boss fights there for inspiration. It's content that requires proper teamwork (especially the Baron fight).
A gearless model would have likely led to needing to unlock powers the same way you farm for travel powers right now. OT: Not sure whether the additional nerf on Dodge after the initial one was necessary. Major kudos for automatically unlocking all veteran rewards for LTS subs. Now all we need is an LTS sale :P
You know, this is exactly what On Alert did to an onslaught of builds, pigeonholing them into Crit and Dodge and making Might toons reliant on knockback all of a sudden and making them detrimental to the group in timed scenarios. You really shouldn't expect a strategy, build or style of gameplay to be valid throughout the…
Since all passives that grant Dodge/Avoidance or Crit/Severity are getting looked at, will powers like Evasive Maneuvers and specializations also be looked over? (Not implying they need buffs/nerfs, but just whether they should be brought in line with this new system)
With the current balance, the only way things can prove to be a challenge is with one-hit kills like Gravitar, Mega D or Cybermind's raining. I didn't mind that content and I am glad we got it, but I also know that "avoid or die" gameplay in level-progression-based games is usually the result of damage inflation. If all…
By that theory, every single item in the game is paid for, so no issue for you to worry about even more buyable gear being introduced. Of course not. The issue is when people think that spending real money means that gear will never need to be upgraded.
And for this game to exist and all of us to be here on these forums and discuss it, someone had to spend money on the game. I don't see the point you are making. Also, no, nobody needs to spend a dime to buy Legion Gear. ZEN can be earned for free via surveys or monthly stipends. Your argument that Legion Gear requires…
You don't need to spend a dime for Legion Gear. You can farm Questionite for ZEN, you can farm Global and buy the gear you need from the AH or other players. The amount of farming either would take is comparable to the time it took me to farm UNTIL gear, then farm broken Serpent Lantern secondaries, THEN farm even more…
I hope these changes mean you are trying to bridge the gap between minmax and casual builds and make content creation easier. If that's the case, please make future gear not something that just gives you your old numbers back, but rather something that lets characters branch out with more options. Other than that, I like…
Hello and thank you for talking to the community. My only simple request is that bear heads are allowed to wear ushankas. Everything else I would have asked seems to already have been answered.
Yea, if it would do all that, a 5 minute cooldown would make sense. I'm now wondering whether it should even be something along the lines of Neverwinter's daily powers (which are "daily" in name only)
I doubt any company would give you any sort of refund, let alone a cash refund. How long have Legacy devices been used like this? Have they existed for a full year (I honestly don't know)? People got to use it during a certain timeframe to great effect. They got their money's worth. Nobody got compensated when new gear…
You can have perma 8 stacks if you're Might only and just allocate your stats well. You only need to get Aggressor's CD lower than your Enrage buff lasts. The larger that cap, the easier to maintain those stacks, but you're essentially perma 8 stacks with one power. 10 sec UR recharge is impossible, though. It scales…
Play the character you feel like playing at the moment. I've RP'd both silly and serious with lighthearted and dark characters alike. You can always find stuff if you look at the right places. Try checking out CORP if you'd like to find new people to RP with.
Regen, Conviction and Nanobot Swarm stack Compassion, but only if they actually heal damage (it doesn't work if you're on full hp). If you're playing solo, you'll always be healing your own damage, so you stack Compassion. If you're in a team, the AoE heal advantage on Conviction will heal them and stack Compassion. You…
I got one of the stipends today, which still leaves another 500Z missing. I have no idea whether they skipped a month or whether this was for the previous month.
Ranged tanks are often either a gimmick or an annoyance. I'd say tanking is the only thing melee has an advantage over ranged. Also, melee healers can work somewhat. I experimented with a few builds and you can be a melee support healer by using various specs and advantages that heal others while you deal damage. Kinda…
I opened a ticket on July 31 and still no response. Got one that said I was being forwarded to billing and that was more than 2 weeks ago. So basically missing my July and now my August stipend :/
I'll try this solution when I am able to set aside time for it, thanks! At the moment, I've capped CO's FPS to 30, and it managed to somewhat stabilize things.
