  • Thanks for making this.
  • Why? It doesn't seem like there's any additional rewards based on performance when fighting Clarence. I still go for e-peen purposes but it's not like Takofanes where I have a bank full of Zombie Foxbat AFs.
  • I'd do it myself and post it here but I run the game on a toaster so it won't look pretty. Surely a kind forumer here will post screens, right? *hint hint*
  • Are there high quality screenshots of each aura? I know the vendor cycles through them but it will be easier to pick when you see all of them side by side.
  • Pretty much this. It's not good game design to have a fight based on as much RNG as Gravitar is. MMO's that do have bosses that send out plenty of random spikes of damage either have obvious tells or have gear (and raid buffs) that give enough HP to survive long enough for a healer to respond. It's fun to bring a dedicated…
  • WTS: Malvan Shield, Malvan Bracers, Warlord Bracer Module. No idea what they're worth though shield seems to go for a lot in the AH. Would like the trade to be done in keys since I'm a lowly silver.
  • REC is better than END for PA, assuming you're going with Overdrive.
  • I wouldn't be against it if they nerf mitigation across the board and make healers relevant again. I miss taking Jerry Hat Trick to Gravitar because there were so many squishies. Nowadays people just learned to take builds that can effectively solo her.
  • That's actually my stats once Quarry is stacked so you're already in that range. I just chose to spread it around a bit more instead of pumping INT like you did.
  • Guardian and Vindicator is definitely tougher. It would be interesting to see how the changes to offense would change PA DPS. I personally hate the crit nerf but meh. Currently though, here's what you're missing from lacking Avenger Mastery: This is a roughly 6 minute parse on the boss dummy in the PH. About 57% of my…
  • I'd just like to point out that while it definitely works, using Kickback guts your DPS a lot. It just depends on what the OP wants out of the build, I guess.
  • Energy troubles depend on what your build is. Pulsewave's posted Gyrojet uses Guardian and Vindicator which is not really an energy hog. If you want to maximize DPS then you'd want to get Avenger for Avenger Mastery and that requires you to balance crit with energy generation. The easy workaround was to just grab Circle of…
  • Posted this more than a year ago. I'm no longer using the build I had for this and have switched my stats around since then but what it says about EGO still holds true. My current build is actually INT/DEX/REC now.
  • I actually used to have one way back then but hocked it since it supposedly wasn't working and now I want one again. I guess 2.5k is pretty reasonable. Now I just have to work around the silly silver resource cap.
  • Too much talking artificially lengthens what should have been a short alert. While I think the difficulty is fine, the rewards are too random. At least give tokens or increase the resource rewards.
  • The build should still work but just remember that even once you get your gear that build was designed more as a survivable damage dealer rather than for high DPS. If you want high damage as PA, Avenger Mastery along with Tactical Missile would be your bread and butter. It's also probably better to get REC instead of EGO…
  • -You don't have a form. -There's too many redundant powers. -Pyre is terrible compared to Conflag, one of the hardest hitting attacks in the game -Fireball is pointless without the advantage especially since you have Defile. -EGO isn't that good as a secondary superstat but it's a great primary. If you just want the mix…
  • shows up as the first result to me when I tried just now
  • It just feels like you're doing high damage. Get to 40 and parse yourself and you will notice that mini gun alone is pretty terrible damage. Anyway assuming you're using Overdrive, it's commonly known that it scales better with REC rather than INT or EGO as its tooltip states.
  • I would argue that it's only healers that are becoming irrelevant. Damage dealers get a significant drop in DPS trying to survive, not just by double stacking BCR's damage debuff but also wasting time activating defensive/healing powers. And while I don't really have problems regarding aggro when using Swarm, I would never…
  • I'm looking for rank 7 gambler mods. Is a dark aura a fair trade for one? If so message me @hubrix. I need 2.
  • Maybe it really is just luck of the draw regarding which GM you get. While I still have plenty of issues concerning the game, customer support now gets a thumbs up from me.
  • I used the PWE Support page and filed a ticket under Billing Support > Transaction Issue. https://support.perfectworld.com/app/ask Good luck in getting your ticket answered. While my own experience was pleasant, I've also heard people say the opposite.
  • Or just bump mob health up. I fail to see why other players have to be penalized for trying to maximize their build's potential. It's not like it's gamebreaking damage that can't be achieved by everyone through smart play. They're not relying on rare devices that deal damage far from the norm, it's just regular powers that…
  • Works similarly to the Hoverdisk TP except better.
  • I can barely contain my joy! Oh, golly gee, we don't deserve people as benevolent as Cryptic! We're already making their excuses for them just because of a small buff that's still a net nerf to what we paid for. They give us a fraction of what we had and people are already lining up to brown nose. Bacon had the right idea,…
  • The thing is Lucy, you yourself have stated that you like Imbue now. I've posted numbers saying it's already superior in its primary function over nearly all Active Offense powers yet you claim it needs to be buffed even further (in terms of crit heals and crit attacks, right in your opening post). I just don't see the…

  • It seems they're buffing the prototypes somewhat in PTS. I haven't decided if I should shut up about it now but a half-hearted consolation is probably better than none. I still don't feel rewarded for investing in them, I only feel $30 poorer. And looking at the suggestions forum, specifically about STO supposedly getting…
  • I honestly thought it was just me. Maybe we need to nerf the vehicle speed some more?
  • Cryptic catching up to technology from 10 years ago? Blasphemy. Make it happen, please
  • Well first off, let's sucker a few of them into buying lifetime accounts so they're here forever. The on the fence people we target with a sub forcing them to be here for a certain amount of time. Next we hit the others with a sale of Freeform slots at 50% off. The remaining ones we'll milk with lockboxes. Blast fax kudos…
  • pssst, Cryptic, action figure battles ala pokemans please. Put more of them in the c-store while you're at it. Also WTS my army of 50+ zombats
  • Actually this is already the case. Imbue doesn't put other Active Offenses on the shared CD. It doesn't mean much since they can't be stacked but at least you can still use a break free power if you really need to. Not really sure if other AO put Imbue on cooldown though, it's always the first one I use.

  • We can make a sporty new archetype to go along with it. And once Cryptic has gotten over its current Grand Theft Auto phase, we're moving into sports game territory complete with a brand new alert. Champions Online: Jam in Space

  • Very much so. On my build it's a more than 17% DPS increase during it's duration, by comparison Ice Sheath is barely 12% and Lock n Load is not even 8%. Unless you have the CON to feed advantaged Ego Surge to crazy high levels, Imbue is most likely the strongest Active Offense.

  • I'm quite sure OP is asking for builds for the 8 slot vehicles.
  • I'd rather existing travel powers be reworked to function at that level instead of making them obsolete by releasing a device that is as good as that. They can nerf jet speed all they want if travel powers get improved to the level of the alert's hover disks. The lack of energy penalty alone is a huge boost to my PA hero.
  • Apparently missing head bug is back but it is a relatively minor one. And to be honest I prefer some of my characters headless.
  • Didn't know it was affected by health. Well, the version that went live anyway. Guess I'm getting rid of LnL.
  • If you kill the Chopper and Black Talon, most of the destroids on the cooling system despawn. You can also just put another DPS to kill Black Talon while he's en route since he doesn't do anything until he gets near. Defending the engines is still annoying because the destroids are spread out way too much, this is probably…
  • Until boxes, mods and a 10 pack mod box (for the Mega D kill). Maybe there's more but those are the only stuff I ever got. The Cooling System is hilariously easy to defend, 1 DPS can pretty much stop the waves leaving everyone else free to defend the engines. I do agree that the engine/cooling system defense portion takes…
  • b..but I though we are the fanbase
  • Really, it's our fault because we're suckers. Cryptic is working so hard and there's just so much pressure, don't blame him. It's all because of those whores like WoW who keep hogging the limelight all the time and not letting him shine. And those nasty posters always bringing my Cryptic down. He's a good guy, really, you…
  • I did glance through it at the start but I tend to remove myself from PvP talk since I don't really know much about it. PvPers value DPH and since I prefer PvE, I look at DPS. Simply put even at just the base Crit Severity, new Imbue gives more than 7% damage increase during it's duration. The higher your Crit and Severity…
  • It really is a huge slap in the face. The fact that they even promised an incentive for getting them was just insult to injury.
  • New Imbue is probably the best AO in terms of pure DPS, doesn't have the utility of the others though. Dual pistols changes were much needed and much welcome, haven't really tried the other powers. And yes, the mission hoverdisk is awesome.
  • Tells as in boss animations to see what attack they're about to use. You being melee doesn't affect yourself, in fact if you were ranged it would be better since you're out of the way and not blocking anything. And larger character do indeed have a different hit box, try passing through a large character using a smaller…
