    They've triggered events without patches before, a few times. It is happening tomorrow.

    TT, might wanna consider popping that in your message for the people that check the boards but don't log into game without knowing that an event is happening? :biggrin:

    oh any number of things, from an issue with the winter event coming up to the stars being right and cthulhu rising out of the sea.

    Cthulhu rising is more of a possibility--or maybe they're bracing for the storms that're supposed to hit the west coast, looks like STO isn't up yet either.

    Any idea if there is a chat room around that ppl hang chatting while waiting for server?

    although cryptic is based on the west coast, pretty sure their servers are in fact based in or near New York on the east coast.

    I just love how every time this kind of thing happens, we get no info about it. We are just left wondering if something will eventually happen.

    Maintenance has been extended until aprox 10:30AM PDT, so for another 30 minutes.

    I will update you as soon as I get a solid ETA on when the servers will be back up.

    This turned into a kerfuffle -- due to the storm currently hitting the West Coast, some portions of the maintenance took longer to get through, the engies weren't able to work as efficiently.

    We should be opening soon. Sorry about the delay everyone.

    The irony starts when a "simple restarts" become a big hassle.
    Call Maverick if you need a DPS help, or Combat Medic if you need a healer.

    I am known for having extremely good or extremely bad luck with drops.

    In all fairness, the Bay Area in Cali is getting hit by the remnants of a typhoon. Perhaps some folks had to call it in from home.

    It's good that we got a dev update, but it would be nice if we got it first for once, instead of a second-hand report from STO or NWO. That hasn't happened in years.

    On the plus side, my curiosity piqued, I looked up the origin of the phrase "Red Headed Stepchild" and learned some things.

    all the games are on the same server. that said and I know most already know that. For those that don't im saying it so you know that there might not be anything wrong with CO but instead with the other titles, I know STO just got patched along with neverwinter and something could have gone wrong there.

    and no the server isn't back up yet :(

    It seems that "bit longer" means two hours. Oh well, my metang has gone up 10 levels in this time. :D

    TT - with this weeks sale being the Victorian set, any chance you could have a word with the devs about the 3rd color on the Victorian skirt being broken since a couple of months after it was released - if you check out the example images used in the cstore you will see you are advertising it with 3 colors.

    The server should be up now. Any maintenances will be game-by-game, usually PWI's maintenances/outages will happen at a different time, particularly if you choose to play on a server that isn't based on the East Coast.
