Saturday morning and I'll get the official list started, thanks for fixing the earlier posts. The VS. Lottery, it's one picture, two heroes and it's a fight. The idea is simple enough and requires a bit of a gamble.
(01) I will compile a list and roll for two opponents, you won't know who your facing till the winners are pulled.
(02) You will have one chance to back down, any necessary re-rolls will be made and once both players are committed, I will flip a coin in secret to decide the winner.
There's the real gamble, you don't know who you'll face and you won't know the outcome till I post the final piece. So no "RP" and no "'my Spec is awesome" factors - you must be willing to lose this fight to enter it.
All the normal rules apply plus I will need your character's estimated height for scale purposes and if your hero uses a melee weapon I'll need to see a pic of it as well. Also to keep the poses tight I am asking for melee toons only.

Bullet beatdown is a gun move that's in melee range. It's both a melee and a ranged move or just a melee move with the advantage. Game mechanics wise, Bullet beatdown is IMP's melee power.

That is how I envision Sterga. But, there seems to be a lack of single gun powers and no ability to duel wield a gun and sword. And you asked for melee, so, the closest would be a Blade AT since it has Reaper's Caress. Which is what I would use as her main move.

Hmm... didn't there used to be a ruler by the tailors in RenCen for an accurate height? The costume creator has her height as 5 feet 9 inches, but I'm not sure if I adjusted the leg height any to alter that. Let's just go with that.

Some times finding out who your opponent is going to be does make a difference, could be a buddy ingame, could be an ego thing like "I can't lose to Cheesies Boy!"
He stands 6' 5" according to the tailor. His skin isn't nearly so dark in game - I don't know why it comes across the way it does in the screencaps. The facial hair is the muttonchop-moustache combination; I don't remember what it's called in the Tailor.

I finally got a pose I like for The VS.Lottery and will start my inks soon. The Holiday Freebie for Easter is coming up but this one is going to be a Lottery instead of a spontaneous post. Religion aside there are plenty of symbols that could be used to illustrate Easter and with the Foxbat event bringing back fond memories - I going to do a tongue in cheek Deathtrap.
One hero will be slowly, mercilessly dipped in a chocolate vat. Holy Colossal Confectionery Batman!
Due to the slightly sexy, if not silly, nature of this Deathtrap I am asking that all entries be at least18 yrs. old and must normally wear a "classic tights" (No Power Armour) costume. I was going to make it female only but my RL GF is kind of hoping a guy wins, lol.

Hello Heroes, I'm going to do my update early because I wanted to pass on a message as well. The artwork is going to be a little delayed because I'm thinking of entering the Design a Costume contest. I'm a little behind but will start this up in sequence and of course - not before the screen cap is posted to the thread.
I got in from work super late tonight, and didn't see this yesterday, AC, but let me get this screen up.. I can make better ones for you tomorrow if you prefer!
The one on the left is her Sorceress' robe, so ignore it for this contest. The one in the middle is her original costume, sort of a Sub-mariner homage. On the right side is her old Homeroom Alpha gym suit /swimsuit.
Made a new screen with a newer costume I use on Abby, and here it is.
This has a few angles so one can see subtle details, such as the "scales" on the underarm wing things, emulating fish scales rather than birds feathers, and her webbed fingers. Her ears are pointy too, but currently mostly covered by her long hair. Her gills are hidden behind her ears.
Both versions are fine and your not late I would've waited a week before re-rolling. Anyways, the lotteries are on hold till I catch up, I'm almost finished my Design a Costume entry.

Catching up a little here, my costume entry is done and now The Versus Lottery is finally posted.
The die spun silently, somberly through the air. A scarred hand caught it and set it spinning yet again. A voice both cultured and broken glass all at once called out "Two sides to every coin hero, pristine you win, scarred you lose..." Ching! The coin sailed high and bounced once, landing hard on he dirty floor. "Scarred side up, you lose Hypernova!" VERSUS01:

Thanks Epelsker, you've seen the True Colours Lottery before so you know what I can do with pencil crayons. I got to tell you though the giant robot's hands is purple with cherry highlights in real life but it scans as pink here, so frustrating. Even worse, Thundrax' face doesn't even register as four different colours blended together. The old scanner was never meant for this and needs to be replaced.

I can see a slight tinting difference due to the scanner, but I'm more impressed that you can create excellent shading with pencils and other mediums outside digital. That's something that I've always been amazed by is when an artist can create shading and effects that rival and surpass digital (especially because those mediums don't have the convenience of layers and undo options :P). Keep it up AgentCanada!!

First off thanks for all the nice comments on the colours but it really was a test. The True Colours Lottery I mentioned is one where I draw the winner with pencil crayons, comes with the tagline "No pencils, no pens, just colour". It's very tricky because pencil crayon doesn't fully erase once a mistake is made and more importantly, I need to know the colours I use are going to show.

Dual Blades build, with only a touch of Ice.
Bullet beatdown is a gun move that's in melee range. It's both a melee and a ranged move or just a melee move with the advantage. Game mechanics wise, Bullet beatdown is IMP's melee power.
That is how I envision Sterga. But, there seems to be a lack of single gun powers and no ability to duel wield a gun and sword. And you asked for melee, so, the closest would be a Blade AT since it has Reaper's Caress. Which is what I would use as her main move.

(01) I will compile a list and roll for two opponents, you won't know who your facing till the winners are pulled.
(02) You will have one chance to back down, any necessary re-rolls will be made and once both players are committed, I will flip a coin in secret to decide the winner.
There's the real gamble, you don't know who you'll face and you won't know the outcome till I post the final piece. So no "RP" and no "'my Spec is awesome" factors - you must be willing to lose this fight to enter it.
All the normal rules apply plus I will need your character's estimated height for scale purposes and if your hero uses a melee weapon I'll need to see a pic of it as well. Also to keep the poses tight I am asking for melee toons only.

Hmm... didn't there used to be a ruler by the tailors in RenCen for an accurate height? The costume creator has her height as 5 feet 9 inches, but I'm not sure if I adjusted the leg height any to alter that. Let's just go with that.

Religion aside there are plenty of symbols that could be used to illustrate Easter and with the Foxbat event bringing back fond memories - I going to do a tongue in cheek Deathtrap.
One hero will be slowly, mercilessly dipped in a chocolate vat. Holy Colossal Confectionery Batman!
Due to the slightly sexy, if not silly, nature of this Deathtrap I am asking that all entries be at least18 yrs. old and must normally wear a "classic tights" (No Power Armour) costume. I was going to make it female only but my RL GF is kind of hoping a guy wins, lol.

The one on the left is her Sorceress' robe, so ignore it for this contest. The one in the middle is her original costume, sort of a Sub-mariner homage. On the right side is her old Homeroom Alpha gym suit /swimsuit.

Made a new screen with a newer costume I use on Abby, and here it is.
This has a few angles so one can see subtle details, such as the "scales" on the underarm wing things, emulating fish scales rather than birds feathers, and her webbed fingers. Her ears are pointy too, but currently mostly covered by her long hair. Her gills are hidden behind her ears.

Catching up a little here, my costume entry is done and now The Versus Lottery is finally posted.
The die spun silently, somberly through the air. A scarred hand caught it and set it spinning yet again. A voice both cultured and broken glass all at once called out "Two sides to every coin hero, pristine you win, scarred you lose..." Ching! The coin sailed high and bounced once, landing hard on he dirty floor. "Scarred side up, you lose Hypernova!"
