You heartless beast! Haha, as long as you have the normal costume for when we roll together, it'll be fine.

And I think we got more than 5 people now? Maybe we can tear through some open missions Brigade-style. :D

I respec'd mine (it forced me to) and now he sucks. I had a brute with all the might powers but I tried heavy weapons.. I think I might make him a martial artist speedster instead.. grr.

He's 1 bar from 18 so I'm not sure what to make him. I've got 4 free respecs though so whatever :p

Yeah mine's heavy weapons right now too. I've also got a ton of free respecs so I may just respec him all willy nilly. Might try Force.

Smackwell, there's an issue with custom channels right now, so the Brigade channel appears to be mission. You need to do this to get it back:

Workaround for channel owners that worked for me:

    /channel_motd CHANNELNAME test

Log out after that and go back in. The channel should be there again.

Hmm, maybe I'll make a Brigade at some point, might even do it with Megaton's powers, I haven't heard of a radioactive Brigade yet, I can already see an alternate personal costume for him in my head.

Whoo hoo! Ok, that was fun. Here's a few preliminary screenshots from Archoless, Smackwell, and me running resistance.

    first the dance party gathering.
    Attachment not found.

Followed by a shot from our fight with Arcana:
    Attachment not found.

    Taking on Shadow Destroyer:
    Attachment not found.

Which was difficult. But with a little bit of help from Duratok and Renegade, the Replicating Resistance Fighter:
    Attachment not found.

we managed to kick his tail, as well as the Endbringer he summoned.
    Attachment not found.

also... I think that last pic is gonna be my new wallpaper. :D

It was definitely an epic excursion. The adventure pack dragged out a bit long for me though. I think I'm going to enjoy them much more as comic issues.

    On Random's pics:
Second pic, looks like Arcana's mad at me putting my big stupid sword through her a few times.

The third one, that's me and my big stupid sword, looks like I got set on fire or something. :D

FIfth one, that's me on the bottom left performing my only long-range attack, which I picked up just before heading into the adventure pack. You can see me letting Duratok do all the work, after I found out it's very painful to be a melee in this fight. I think I got resed like 15 times in that battle, up until I chickened out and started throwing ground fire at the guy. :D

Thanks for all the reses! Next time I'm going Force, for sure!

You save the jpg file from the forums and put it in your screenshots folder, inside the Champions Online folder. Then at the creator or tailor you click load and look for the file.

I missed out on the AP run :( But I did get around to respecing Brigade and now he's got a mix of elemental powers and I'm liking him a lot.

He's level 18 now so I'm up for some shenanigans next time anyone wants to play.

I'm working a good bit this week so I won't be on much, but I'm down next weekend. It's a free weekend for silver players to run Demonflame and I want to hand out some keys to give a month of gold for good team mates.

This concept is awesome. I hate having my costumes dictated, but I really like the concept :)
I guess I'd better get my main to 40 (finally) so I can get a spot for a mini Brigade.
How many Brigade clones do you have currently?

I think the roster is over 20, but there's about 5 or so (maybe more) active players. A few weekends ago we had I think 7 of us online, and we did some Resistance runs. It was much fun.

As far as costume goes, people tend to make variations of the original costume which they sometimes use when soloing, but when we get together, we always put on the original costume.

I'm pretty sure there's at least two of us who have made nemeses for our Brigade toons who also happen to be Brigades, for whatever that's worth. (I know have, and I can't remember if it was FlyingFinn or RandomChance42 who made the other. Or maybe both have, I dunno. It's not like I can tell us apart just by looking when we're playing...)

Yup. I made my nemesis a rogue Brigade.

And I've also got a Renegade outfit. He was initially going to be my nemesis, but instead I'm going with him being the Multifarian version of Brigade: Renegade the Replicating Resistance Fighter. :D

    Ha, that's awesome.

I was gonna say I'll write something out for the origin, but I think it would be cooler if we got ideas from some of the veteran Brigades, and mash it all up together to come up with an origin story. We are, after all, the same hero.

I'll start by saying he's in his early 30s, and his powers emerged in his late 20s confusing the crap out of him. His multi-power manifested itself at the same time as his other normal powers, that being his super strength.

Seems like an interesting idea... read through the first 20 something pages... noticed a few questions about Female versions... never saw any answers... Bit curious my self as to if a female version would be accepted.

The female version was never really decided on. It would be on a separate supergroup (Brigade won't just pop out a girl version of himself!). I think I made a costume for her similar to Brigade's, but I'm not sure if I posted it. Though now I'm thinking I might remake it but with no Gold costume pieces, so that silvers could join in on the fun.

The first name that was thrown around was Brigette, but I think some people didn't like that. I think there was some interest in naming the character Myriad.

How about his multi-power manifested itself without him noticing for a while, like people saying "hey i saw you at the cafe the other day", and hes like "i stayed in yesterday ()", or hes dating multiple girls without knowing until one of him gets caught :p . Then the big revelation when he walks into himself in a hallway.

We did toss around a few costumes based on your original design. I actually made up a Brigette and still have it. We were never able to decide on an SG name and then the whole thing just died. I'm pretty sure this is the costume I'm using.

Randomly took a crack at a powersuit Brigade...

I probly won't play a Brigade since it just feels to strange for me to play male... but if you make a Myriad SG give me a call, I'll gladly join ^-^.

well anyway heres what I did just playing around... your free to use it if you want, the shape might be a bit off I had some slight issues with the costume file refusing to copy to the screenshots folder...

As much as I love the Brigade idea, I would absolutely play a Myriad if we were to start a Multi-Woman super group. It would give me a reason to finally start a female character :D
