Found this through Finns's Sig and it's intriguing, but I must ask a question.
57 pages (Which I'm not reading BTW), and nobody ever considered that Brigade could mutate enough when he splits that the new he is no longer a he? As in, how about female versions of this?
Smack should design it, and as usual, anybody who uses it can make it unique when they use it.
If it's a no, then I'll be on my way I guess. Was just wondering, cause so far I've resolved to never play male characters. I'm male all the time. Part of the fun of games for me is being something OTHER than myself, and that includes not being the same gender.
I like the last Myriad on page 51 with the skirt. If I do end up signing up with you guys eventually, which seems likely but I can't give a date yet, I'd have to edit that and give her a bare mid-driff along with some general touch-ups, and color whatever I decide for the powers.
That's ok right? Cause seriously this sounds pretty epic. I'm tempted to do another healer like my main char cause everybody likes a healer, but might do something else.

The one rule of being a Brigade is that when out with other Brigades you must use the unaltered Brigade costume. This, I assume, applies to Myriad as well. What you do with your other costume slots and power colors/choices are completely up to you.
I couldn't find the one Smack made, though. Lemme try to find it again. Probably scrolled too quickly.
And as I've said before to more people than I could count, never quote me unless you wait a full hour. I edit my posts almost immediately and you end up quoting an old post.
Edit: Ok found it. So which one did you guys actually decide on being the official one? Smack's on page 50 or Panda's on 51? Smack's probably, since he's the original, but I personally like Panda's cause it has a skirt and doesn't look like a bodybuilder. But seriously which is it? I could work with either, but if w're using Smack's I'm totally lowering the muscle mass.
Well that's the thing, I don't think there is a Smackwell-sanctioned official Myriad costume, so I can't tell you which one to use. The topic comes up, people post their ideas, and it's forgotten about without coming to any consensus.
So if you want to make one up, use whichever costume you want for now, knowing that it will probably need to be changed in the future. And again, whatever costume is deemed the official one you're not permitted to alter in any way. This is to ensure we all look exactly alike when together.
Sounds good. Would like to know which one is the Smackwell-sanctioned one, though. But I refuse to not alter the body mass regardless. Come on, you gotta admit it's silly to see a sorceress or some other powerset that isn't expected to work out, sporting a six-pack. It just clashes.
There isn't one at the moment. At least not as far as I know. And the only time you need to wear the official uniform is when you're out with other Brigades/Myriads. The rest of the time you can set your muscles to whatever you like.
I wouldn't say really strict. But the whole idea is that we all look alike, otherwise there's not much of a point. Obviously exceptions have been made for silver players as some of the costume parts on the original costume are gold. Would anyone have a fit if you changed the muscles? Probably not. I mean, it's all about having fun. But the spirit is that we're all supposed to look alike. If you start making more and more exceptions and allow changes here and there then eventually we'll all begin to look slightly different, and that defeats the purpose of Brigade.
Just my 2 cents. Ultimately it's up to Smackwell. It's his baby.
Thanks Smack. I personally like Panda's last one, with the skirt. Page 51 if you wanna use that as a start off. I'm sorry but the one you made that one time was just too female bodybuilder. Doesn't mean it sucks, just too tomboy for my taste. Panda's had just enough female in there IMHO.
Or something between Panda's and yours. I was thinking since people have different powers, that she should have a "power neutral" body mass. Yours was looking designed to be throwing trucks or something and wouldn't fit a less mooscles-inclined power set. Lol mooscles.
Alright here's something I came up with. I didn't like how the pattern of the stripe side inlay broke on it, so I changed the top. I've toned down the "body builder muscles" so that there's basically no musculature to her, adjusted her body proportions to be more feminine, and screw it, gave her better boots.
Try toning down the hips and thighs a bit and set the muscle slider to close to 25% that's about where I had mine at if i recall... as it is now her arms are twigs while her legs are tree trunks... you need to balance it.
Edit: Made a change to mine using your new pattern... I still say we stick to the same blue that's in the Brigade costume. She's taller this time 5'4", and I checked my sliders to double check, muscle is just a little below 25% same with Body Mass.
Alright. I'm not sure I like the slanted skirt better than the straight one, but I guess I could go either way. I'll do some adjustments to the arms and legs, see what sticks.

I just like the look of the slanted, I'm fine with the other skirts as well, though honestly I liked the full tights look the most. Also... I think we might need to find a top other than Classic Wedge for the Silver version since I don't think Classic Wedge is a Silver costume piece. It looks amazing though...
So which one is the official exactly? Need to know which one to download.
Captain's is too muscular on the legs. I think if you change the skirt to blue Panda, that one is the best. Smack's is looking so so by comparison. Panda's needs more blue, and it's the closest to being a Brigade that turned female after splitting IMO.

Seriously, what is it with you and muscles? They're superheroes, not fatties in stirrup pants hanging out at Walmart. They are supposed to be muscular.
I think maybe full tights just like Brigade might be the way to go. I don't like the addition of the belt, because it breaks up the pattern. The skirt seemed popular, so I chose a top design that didn't get broken up and didn't need to be "belted" to not look crappy.
And as for silvers, I kinda already went back on that with the feet, but that's all kinda moot if we're going to just go back to full tights Brigade-style.
We're back to full tights, no silly skirt, CapFab's shoulder pads, but a straight up polar-opposite colors on the main areas of the costume. Some orange and grey split up by white.
I like it. I think the colors make sense and look good together.

Just to see what it would look like with white instead of grey. You can do whatever you want with the hair, this one is a little longer and darker. Just tossing it out there.
Laptop sitting on cooling pad. not sure what else I can do.
Make sure the intake vents aren't clogged with dust. Blow some compressed air into the exhaust, but only in short spurts, you don't want to ruin the fan(s). If you're comfortable doing so you can also take off the bottom panel and clean things out.
It might not be heat, but that's usually the first thing I tell people to check when they start crashing in games.

I went and did the Cake Dance solo, for the perk.
And top part of costume has colors reversed...
Soon to be seven!

Looks like you all had a lot of fun. Even after the party moved to Champs HQ.

I like the shorter hair usually because I don't like how the long hair looks like it's glued to the body.
By the way, game's been causing hard crashes on me all day, and I crashed while talking to ya.

Hmm, probably not then, unless your home is very dusty. Mine is, I have to clean things out at least once a month.
