Played around in editor with one of my other toons to try a skirt look... its still using my shape so ya'll would have to fix that...

Honestly I think the scalloped looks better than the mech bracers... and well.. the skirt just doesn't look right without stripes to match the body... I dunno...

I tried using the Oriental Vines & Borders pattern on the skirt since it came close to matching the tights... but those vines on the hips just killed it for me... wish they'd make just a Borders pattern for the skirt it would be just perfect with this costume.

Brigade and/or Myriad's day out, anybody?

I haven't gone through all of Aftershock yet, and with Total Aftershock on its way as a complete adventure, does anyone feel like running through the whole thing sometime next week or so?

If I wasn't stuck on Silver and unable to access my Myriad at this time I'd be up for it... But sadly I'm without money to renew my subscription till I find someone who will hire me, and in this town that may take a while...

This has absolutely nothing to do with you guys trying to pick the costume for your Lady Brigade. It's just about picking a game costume and it's kind of funny. Well, I think so.

I have the worst luck ever when it comes to stuff like this... If I hadn't had so many issues fixing up my computer a couple months ago I'd actually have money to renew... but of course I ended up spending about $300 somewhat on getting it into proper working and gaming condition... Fans, Memory, Graphics.... the works... I really hope i can find a way to renew soon...

OH, so I took some time and played with the new sci-fi pieces with Finn's tank brigade costume. Here's what I got :D

    Space-tank Brigade!
    Front
    Back
    Close-up

And the original Tank Brigade costume file along with my Space Brigade file.

That's why I used the robotic version instead of the hand version. His actual arm would be somewhere around the elbow, where the controls are :D

Ah yeah, I couldn't tell. That's pretty funny though. His hand controls a robotic arm that controls the suit's hands!

I might be up for doing some Brigading this weekend. Also, I'll probably be playing him nights this week, so if anyone wants to blow stuff up, hit me up!

Just keep 1 costume on default Brigade. Rest are free to roam.

I'll try to join the Gathering.

I'm having problems trying to load the costume file.
Following the directions given in the thread but the game simply doesn't show the costume when I click the load button.

I've been trying to eyeball the pieces, textures and colors based on the screencaps but it's proving to be murder on my eyes.

If you're a silver player you need to make sure you've downloaded the silver variation costume file, not the standard file.

It's the Silver file that I'm using but adding it to the screenshots folder doesn't make it show up on my list.
In fact nothing from the screenshots folder shows up. There's got to be another directory that I simply can't find.

There is only one place the game looks, and that's the Cryptic Studios\Champions Online\Live\screenshots folder.

Yet the costumes I've saved and screenshots I've taken don't show up in that folder or anywhere else that I can find. Sounds like I've got more of a technical issue than originally thought.

In the meantime can I safely assume the tights, gloves, emblems and mask texture is cloth while the shoulders, bracers, back piece and boots are metal?

    I'm pretty sure that's correct.

You might want to do a search for screenshot_ on your computer to see where your files are going.

Did you get the game through Steam? I hear everything goes in a different directory there.

Nah it's the same install from '09. I added it to my library on Steam but that shouldn't have altered where screenshots go.

    *checks after a search*

Seems I was completely wrong. Apparently adding it to Steam's library DID in fact change the directory.
My apologies for the interruption and I'll be seeing us in game soon.

Argh, I can't stand it any more! As soon as I get some more character slots I'm going to make a Brigade. The idea has been nagging away at me and I can't take it anymore, so I'm just going to go ahead and make one when I get the chance. I'm not sure what powers to give this one, so I may randomize it if I have to.

I want to see as many Brigades as possible, preferably 99 (So i can still get into the instance), dancing in Ren Cen. The rest of them should invade Steelhead, Greenskin, Monster Island, Vibora Bay and Lemuria.

Well I made a Brigade, just don't know exactly what to do now XD. Level 11 already and I must say Inferno in blue color looks nice. <_< I also noticed while as Brigade I got a sudden influx of Challenges. T_T I'm only good in PVPing with my invisible sniper in the Zombie Hero Games T_T.

That would be SO WEIRD to see an entire Instance of a Zone (All 100ish spots) taken up by Brigades (brigadeers?).

I really should play more on my Brigade. But I'm having a lot of fun training my Santa in preparation for this year's Christmas Event... from 5 to 22 in 3 days, that's pretty quick for me, considering I hardly play more than a couple of hours a day.
I'll work with you later, brigade, but Santa needs me! SANTA! *frolics with Santa*

I think this event calls for a weekend Brigade Dance-Off and maybe run a few missions/open missions/adventure packs. Anyone up for this? I'll be available most of saturday and sunday.

btw - How many CO players have a Brigade on their account now? No clue? 100? More? A million six?

You would have to have the global name to see just which one it was. I know it wasn't me though I don't have that demon form on my brigade, it's on Mimic.

We have 32 people in the chat channel, so if they all have one(and they should) there is your answer.

D'OH! I didn't even think of that. I thought it was a bit far from the main costume to be a proper Brigade. So it is just a Brigade using one of those Become Devices? Looks like { checks store } a Purple Chaos Demon. Mystery solved, then, I guess. Anyone or all 32 of your comrades could have just bought a device.

This is the bio I wrote for mine, I think everyone/some of us copied it to theirs.

Brigade, the Multi-Man, is a Super Hero with a unique power: he can split his body into multiple copies. Beyond that, whenever he makes a new copy, it develops its own powers, completely independent of his own super powers.

Most of us (I think, anyway...okay...maybe just me) use the bio Smackwell has. I'm not sure if it's posted anywhere in this thread, but you can always copy it from one of us online.
