Mom's Basement - More couch-like options, and maybe if possible a second Tailor option (actual curtains or a folding screen). Maybe a futon and a TV for the couch, or even a fooz-ball table. And more wall options! The painting and projector are both nice, but maybe a scribbled on white-board with notes of arcane geekery (hit conversion tables, and the like). Or posters of some variety.
On the PTS moonbase I could zoom my camera out through the glass of the bubble, giving me a view of my character from outside the base. Since I can't do this on live I guess it was a bug, but I liked it. I'd also like to be able to see the sleeping pods from outside when the door is shut rather than the camera bumping up against the inside of the glass.
*Dinosaur and animal bone decorations
*Giant dragon skeleton from Sanctum Alchemist (You can't deny how awesome it would look underlit by lava)
*Fish swimming below for the Plants and Waterfalls look.
Maybe they should expand the areas of the bases some, like give a new room or two to the moonbase and cave or something... i don't know they seem so claustrophobic as they are.

Every single base has two extra doors that currently lead to no where. I'm thinking they are already thinking of expansions for these bases.
Different planet options and/or no planet option (set up like a space station)
Explore the hallways and a bit of the outside. (With a no planet option is would be like a persistent flight)
Cave: I feel this is the most lacking in customization. Most of the options feel like fillers. Feels too small, one would think the moon has less breathing room.
Elevator to a second floor.
bats, rats, snakes, rodents all over
minor cave exploration
Basement: The place with the least room.
Would be nice to "hide" the secret. like behind a poster there is a button and the crime computer, guns, tailer section, re-positions into a more innocent scene. Like come on what if mom came down stares and saw this? (adding this to the proper thread.)
Mom's voice. A must for effect. Mom would yell down and ask silly questions or make silly statements.
Examples: "Do you and your friends need milk and cookies?" "Are you having a costume party or something?" "Are you watching TV down there?" "What was that noise?"
1) Make an option to turn off the floating candles in the Sanctum - Mystic. With that removed, and say, the flaming skull head gone, it looks like a basic (if a bit creepy) library.
2) Can we have an option for None for the Cave - Industrial - Conference Table? It really looks out of place with some of the Cave Venue options (which all look fantastic, BTW).
While the weapon displays used as tailors in certain hideouts are nice, and work well with certain character concepts, not all characters who would use those hideouts are weapon collectors. It would be nice if these hideouts had, among the default options, closets or something which could be used to replace the weapon racks if a player so chose. (Note- I'm an extreme alt-oholic, so I have plenty of characters the weapons are appropriate for, and plenty they're not.)

^gonna second -all- these points. Would really like a 'none' option for the Conference Table, and/or possibly something that looked a bit more... permanent, and less cluttered.
I'm taking Mom's Basement as my freebie, and I like it a lot but... I really wish there was more customization. Maybe something else to replace the gym equipment? Like more chairs, or a bed or a little kitchenette area or something. I'm going to sort of be using it as a 'cruddy apartment' RP-space for a while and I would like to do something with that area other than leave it blank (I don't really see most of my characters using the gym equipment). It'd be nice to have a non-concrete floor option as well- maybe some ugly carpet or something to fit with the feel of the place.
I liked the scribbled-on whiteboard idea for the wall with the projector or the art, that could fit in well with the theme.... or a window, for people who don't want their basement to actually be... well. A basement. Maybe looking out on West Side or something?
The industrial cave in my mind was something with scavenged equipment, so it was never intended to feel as permanent. Check out the tech cave when it comes, there are more permanent looking conference table options in that.
As for the basement, there's a couple more options in place for the gym in the other sets. . . the problem is that there's only so much time to spend on each hideout, so I have to pick my battles. Ya, we probably could have come up with another option there, but it would have been at the cost of another somewhere else. . .
Really 2 styles, but that have some in things in common
Ceiling Detail - For the Monster Hunter, dragon skull and other hanging trophies. Don't know about Robin Hood style
Conference Table - Large wooden table with furs and other trophies on it for Monster Hunter. For Robin Hood, a more simple Desk cut from a huge piece of wood
Lift Control Panel - A hand crank operation in a hollowed out tree
Platforms - Wood planking
Railings - More Wood, maybe for the monster hunter some bone options
Stairs - You got it, more wood planking.
Moon Base
More alien styles, maybe Qularr or Gadroon or just something generic.
-Mom's Basement-
I would love to see alternates of a lot of the options already available like different comics/posters on the walls.
A cat absently swinging its tail while sleeping on the desk instead of the fish bowl.
A different pinball machine (one for each major hero and/or villain?).
Bean bags instead of a couch!
A table with dice and sheets and screens and such on it where people could be playing a certain point buy system pen & paper RPG! Come on, what else did you do in Mom's basement? ...That you could do in a T rated game...

...so the decision was to make the basement lackluster so the others could have that much more awesome? Right now, it kind of comes only in "geek despair" and "squalid, utter despair" flavors -- you have the options to decorate like a geek, or to have empty space -- and the latter still has a goodly chunk that bleeds over from the former. It's good for the geek living in the basement, but even the street vigilante still has an incongruous arcade game and the goofy fishbowl as mandatory. It's not a bad spot, but after hearing how cool the others were, I feel let down blowing my freebie on such a limited base, sight unseen.
At the very least, I'd have liked the arcade and fish tied to the pinball toggle, and a "cracked wall" option instead of the wallpaper.

What exactly were your expectations for the "Mom's Basement" theme?
What exactly were your expectations for the "Mom's Basement" theme?
I didn't expect the Moonbase to have retractable domes or an interactable environment. I expected, at the least, more than binary options given, and that the Mom's Basement idea was the start of the inspiration, not the end of it.

They're binary right now because you only have access to one theme.
The Basement hideout category certainly is not restricted to geeky stuff. However, the only theme for that category currently accessible is.
Moonbase
Ability to change the following locations: Tailor, Hallway to Tailor, Crime Computer, Lounge seating, Lounge table, Lounge Screen, Exterior base appearance, Sliding Door, Railings, Sky, Terrain texture
Cave
A new platform added towards the 'cave entrance' direction with socializing stuff on it, or perhaps have the door near crime computar open and lead to the social area of the hideout, as is this is the only hideout completely lacking in a good social area that ISN'T the 'mission' table.
Also would like to see the following areas have options: Elevator, 'Pit', Door (if not removed to make room for social area), Crime Computer, Tailor (as in the walls around the display cases).
Sanctum
Ability to alter the following areas: Floating Candles, Tailor, Crime Computer, Bookcases, Skylight, Sky, Roof Tiles (exterior), Roof (interior), 'Briefing' area, Lower level infront of fireplace/statue
Basement
Ability to alter the following areas: Staircase, Tailor, Crime Computer, 'Roof'
All Hideouts that show or are affected by the outside world:
I haven't tested Hideouts out, as painful as it is to play on this laptop, but I did wonder if day/night cycle (of the sky and the internal illumination of the Hideout if it would change) and moon/earth-rising and setting was something the existing and future Hideouts offered, where there was a view of something outside...? It seems pretty clear this is theoretically applicable to the Moonbase, and potentially in the future to the Penthouse, but I'm not sure if the Sanctum sky is a mystical or extra-planar sky or a "regular" night time sky...?
I've read and understand the issue with creating multiple cities as options, but day/night transition seems more manageable and quite dramatically atmospheric...an image comes to mind of people socializing in a hideout and a transition taking place and the effect that could have on conversation and appreciation of the setting.
...
Moonbase:
And I'd like to comment that, based only on the screenshots, I have the impression that the shadows on the Moonscape should be sharper and darker than they are, and that they are a bit too soft and generic landscape looking (albeit a grey landscape). It really does just look like a desert from what I was seeing, even to not being stark and bright and looking a bit yellowish.
Im very happy with all of the hidouts. But I do would like the option to duel in them. Please fix. Please? Its not that strangers will come in there anyways.
..... is that an astronaught or an antenna on the top of my moonbase? Because I demand a choice there too! Also his costume if its a person.... also his ability to be outside....
Also, that the distant hills have a less messy texture on the tailor half of the map
Cave - This needs the least help of the bases I think. What could be cool is options for arcane themed furniture and storage items.
Moonbase - It's very neat, but why limit it to the moon? You could easily have completely different options for the setting outside and have the base on other planets! Swirling clouds of venus. Or maybe the base could even be on earth and the outside is in the middle of a jungle! Though the gravity feature would probably need fixing to make that plausable, but anyway.
The physical model version of the astro-model near the cieling makes me think that a steampunk variation of the Moonbase should actually be fairly plausible.
Arcane - What I really think would benefit the Arcane setting is the option to change the color of lighting coming in from outside. Yellow light for normal sunlight, or maybe even an option for no windows at all. Really, I feel the arcane base should have lighting options for warm lighting versus the purple/blue one.
Also, different choices in furniture pieces for mystic implements, mainly voodoo and east asian themed relics.
They're all very promising, and have excellent options so far!
Methinks doth hast not explored enough of yon options.
And more will unlock if you get another hideout in the same category. ANY "OPTION" that only has one choice right now, is only because you only have one hideout in that category.
Day/Night Cycles are certainly doable. Currently none of the bases have one however. Moon is always in sunlight, Sanctum is always at night. We may do more sky stuff in the future, but these initial (phase 1-4) hideouts, will have static skies.

Sadly you speak the truth. In reality, there is very little ambient lighting on the Moon. Hence, when you look at NASA photos of the surface of the moon, the shadows are very drastic, sharp, and dark. Unfortunately, with the realities of running a video game, when I set the sky to look more realistic for the surface of the moon, you could see pretty much nothing within the hideout itself. As the hideout is the important part here, we took a departure from reality (it's a comic game you know), and lightened the whole place up.

HA HA! How did you even see that up there? I totally forgot about him. It's not an actual guy, just a prop we were looking to use, but decided it didn't measure up to our standards. I'll pull it when I get a chance.

Unfortunately the nature of the Moon Map means we can't swap things as easily as we can in others. I'm too lazy to go find my real post on this matter, but the moon uses terrain, which I can't swap. And as you mention, the low grav is inherent to the map as well, so we can't really turn that off. All of that, plus my own personal feelings means that I'd rather make new stuff for new locales. I think it's cooler, and keeps things more unique.
I have gotten the moonbase and the basement...I have no ideas for basement at this time as I am eagerly awaiting the merc skins. However....
Moonbase.
Side doors....Im pretty sure that at some point these will have a use for say...Trainers and Storage...could we also get a dummy room? or somewhere that friends can duel and try each other's builds out? Maybe a powerhouse trainer?
Also for the moonbase....the stasis chambers.....so far there only use is aesthetic...anyway we can get an autolog option in them? (open door...enter.....close door...logged out)
for the outer area of the moon can we get a plain slate with craters? or mebbe a flag that we can drop one of the Emblems on and color?
HA HA! How did you even see that up there? I totally forgot about him. It's not an actual guy, just a prop we were looking to use, but decided it didn't measure up to our standards. I'll pull it when I get a chance.
Aww, don't nix the Lunar Ranger! He's the masked guardian of the moon, standing alert atop your base, watching...always watching.
(Just put him further away if he's not up to close scrutiny? )

What about putting lights (like a lamp or something) out at the end of the map and lights around the base and the outdoor detail stuff, and just keep the base light up with a lightsource inside the base? And you should probably keep it around earth night dark instead of darkside of moon dark.
HA HA! How did you even see that up there? I totally forgot about him. It's not an actual guy, just a prop we were looking to use, but decided it didn't measure up to our standards. I'll pull it when I get a chance.
You are asking someone who is far too perceptive for his own good, hell no one else has ever found Tim the giant floating zombie head in Lemuria unless I've shown them, even then most of them never can find it again.
For proof of this, I have a bug report! Metal textures don't reflect the right choices in your hideout. Example. The metal of my armor shows bars over my moonbase glass, but as you can see beyond him, there is no bars on the glass and that was my pick.
I don't know what you mean by this, can you elaborate?
Mostly a minor nitpick to be honest, having designed levels myself anytime I see the endless repeated texture it just nags me. But see Example. Like I said its mostly just a minor nitpick
*note images not attached here because I couldnt reduce filesize anymore to fit limits without ruining their purpose*
Ya, you shouldn't be able to get rid of the blast shield entirely, that was a bugfix that didn't make it into the build unfortunately, so you shouldn't be able to see out that way.
And yes, I can only shoot one reflection map per map. . . so I have to pick a default state to use. . . sorry it doesn't match up to your hideout.
Well then one last bug report I seem to have found, if you mouse over the list of hideouts you own and wish to travel to, you get a small check list of places that are not yet in but could be. Example, do tell us Tumerboy what this Space Agency option for moonbase is......
Im very happy with all of the hidouts. But I do would like the option to duel in them. Please fix. Please? Its not that strangers will come in there anyways.
Yes please.
LOVE the interactive bits of some of the maps. The sleep pods, dome shield and lifting table are great. We like to play with stuff like that.. The more things we can actually USE in the base interactively the better
Moonbase: Would love to turn this into an undersea base. The terrain wouldn't have to be changed per-say, just make it look like it's underwater, add undersea plants and the occasional sea critter, and then appropriate interior options.
Add something that looks like a transporter. Make it work.. functions like the jet, giving a list of zones to zap to.
Basement: instead of gym equipment, A bed. A larger table with chairs that can itself be modified as to what is on it.. Dinner, Pizza, an RPG game (Hero's anyone?) Let us turn off the tv and change it's channel. Heck.. you could place ads on it Any sort of mini game that could played on an arcade machine or the pinball game... win. Wow.. if we could USE the gym equipment.. much fun.
Cave: in Plants and Water, add stairs going down to the water and allow us to swim in there without getting teleported back up.. It would be a nice lair for our aquatic toons that way, looking like we could enter and exit from the water.
Sanctum: Would love to have a moveable bookshelf that opens to secret area. Give us some objects that allow us to use the mysticism crafting emotes near them, even if we can't craft (which should be added to all the hideouts)

Yeah, I would love to see a table that looks like it is set up for some pen and paper roleplaying.
Welp I lied again. Another 'bug' report. On the moonbase you have included Pluto in the planets. Have you not heard that Pluto is no longer a planet!? I demand this be removed at once for the sake of scientists everywhere!*
Note: Actually removing Pluto will result in possible moon based death lasers fired at all taco like objects
EDITED: Grabbed something from another thread and moved it here, it was in the wrong place
Coloring of lighting effects? I know you can get some of these options in the current Moonbase and Cave models but what about Sanctum? Can I color the flames of my floating candles pretty please? Maybe even color the light of my lamps? It's the little things that count sometimes :P
Also some different statues for underneath the stairs, even though I know these will come. A nice variety would be welcome!
For Caves, I'd like the opening at the top to be an option to turn on or off. Lava Caves with an opening to that tropical environment would look great.
Also, for another Cave option, I'd love to see a Pirate theme. Piles of booty!
-Mom's Basement-

Oh, and band equipment!
I second that!
I so totally expected to find some D&D stuff...
We are a legal firm acting on the behalf of Mr S Collide and are acting for his interests.
Our client is alleging that your actions in the creation of these 'hideouts' have constituted a gross loss of earning. The release of these Hideouts caused our client to lose at least 3 hours of levelling gameplay, representing a significant loss of potential 'Experience Points' or XP as he was compelled to investigate every option on his free moonbase, inviting his SuperGroup colleagues to see and visiting them in theirs. In particular he notes the addictive properties of the Blast Shield open/close switch and simply staring into space or at his giant Laser of Death.
We have investigated his claims and feel that there is a case that could be brought against you in a court of law.
Mr Collide has indicated he would be a happy to come to some arrangement and has expressed that he would be satisfied with a free Penthouse Hideout.
Yours sincerely

And now on a more serious note:
An appropriate Transport device working like Jet/Unity teleport (Teleport for the moon, underground monorial for cave, sewer access for basement, mystic portal for sanctum)
Display Cases, Dress Dummy , Training dummy
option to turn duelling on/off
Skin for crime computer with cracked screen fist imprint (Damn you Socrates!)
Cave: option of removing centre table entirely, and option to swim in the water, a little room
Sanctum: turn floating stuff off/on
Basement: hide/reveal the crime computer button etc, Guitar & Amp, interaction with punchbag
[EDIT - Big thanks for the following:
Cave Waterfall - it's a thing of beauty
Moonbase Blast Shield - open, close, open, close, open, close, open (*giggles*)
Mom's Basement - works so well with emotes, playing pinball machine, 'prodding' the stereo to simulate changing cd.
Moonbase, a few texture options for the floors, the metal one looks too plain, so an option for maybe some texture to make it look like giant tiles/slabs and the option to put an emblem somewhere, on the floor or on the wall or something.
The moonbase is perfect for a medical bay or just a table with some holograms on top, specially around the costume area, would be perfect to go with the sleeper pods (in RP we were using them as medical treatment pods).
For holograms for the ceiling a couple more options, perhaps galaxy or a constellation and such.
An option for a space shuttle outside, the outer area is huge so maybe two options, one for either side as well.
Customization for the couch in the mass seating area, so it can appear more comfortable with a few color options. A picture or some type of emblem over the sliding panel screen would be perfect, so the emblem opens up for the screen as the table comes up. IDEAL.
Lastly instead of just hanging cieling lights a few options there for what could hang, models of spaceships, different light patterns etc.
For the blast shield a sliding option, so that instead of it being just open or closed, it can slide open or close. A telescope would be awesome !!!!
I bought all of the hideouts and intend to buy each one that comes out my wants/concerns/needs
Sanctum:
Focal Point- We have this epic looking statue and then a tiny fireplace...I think the fireplace should be bigger to draw more attention to it
Floor- More options for the floors because the current choices are nice, but I would like a few more options with less of a "Kitchen floor appearance"
Option to remove floating candles
Wallpaper- need more "Nonflowery" options
Cave:
Give an option to have the area filled with water, so as you walk across the platforms you can look down into the water, give little waterfall effects
Give an Alien plant effect like the Gadroon plants growing in the cave
Give us a misty or foggy appearance in our cave also give us the option to choose the fog/mist coloration
Expand the cave out more so we have different areas aside form that small space
Mom's Basement:
More floor options
Bed ((Also we need a lay down emote, or a few of them))
As most have said a pen and paper RPG on the desk
Moonbase:
Those two doors, please let them lead into something like our private quarters or to a medbay, training room, lab, teleporter. Let us choose the option for these rooms rather than having them set
These are my general wants for all hideouts rather than specifics for each one
The extra doors that lead elsewhere: Let us have the option for what those doors lead to in the future Bedroom, Laboratory, Medical Bay, Training Room, Combat Simulator ((Repeat a crisis VB, etc)), Teleporter, R&D Room,
Archive room, basically seeing a trophy of villains we have defeated in the past, like Shadow Destroyer's helmet on display, Or when we defeat X amount of henchmen they give us a banner or like a demon Dog's head mounted on the wall or something to that effect. Therakiel's sword mounted on the wall. Just make those trophies be for only major villains or defeating X amount of henchmen, so you can see the achievment flag get updated. That way you can go by a flag and it will have a small pop up with how many more you need to defeat for the next banner...Give the completionist something to measure themselves by.
I think these are my wants and needs so far, will edit if I have anymore ideas and in different color too.
Comments
Display Cases - Add bows and maybe a bots option (attack toys, support drones, munibots).
Venue - Can we get a plants option without the water?
Moon Base
Add the option to change the display cases like in the cave.
Mom's basement
Give me the fish from there as an AF.
*Dinosaur and animal bone decorations
*Giant dragon skeleton from Sanctum Alchemist (You can't deny how awesome it would look underlit by lava)

In the moonbase...the tailor area...where the weapons are...
...can that be changed to outfits instead of weapons?
Conference Table:
1. Option for none.
2. Option made of rock. 5 small rocks to sit on around a larger rock, all standard height of chairs/table.
Display Case:
1. Seeing our other costumes as an option instead of weapons since it is the tailor area.
2) Can we have an option for None for the Cave - Industrial - Conference Table? It really looks out of place with some of the Cave Venue options (which all look fantastic, BTW).

I didn't expect the Moonbase to have retractable domes or an interactable environment. I expected, at the least, more than binary options given, and that the Mom's Basement idea was the start of the inspiration, not the end of it.
Social Area: Gaming. Complete with Atari 2600 running Breakout. Maybe even playable Breakout.
All
Ability to change ambient noise
It really does just look like a desert from what I was seeing, even to not being stark and bright and looking a bit yellowish.
..... is that an astronaught or an antenna on the top of my moonbase? Because I demand a choice there too! Also his costume if its a person.... also his ability to be outside....
Also, that the distant hills have a less messy texture on the tailor half of the map
I don't know what you mean by this, can you elaborate?
Unfortunately the nature of the Moon Map means we can't swap things as easily as we can in others. I'm too lazy to go find my real post on this matter, but the moon uses terrain, which I can't swap. And as you mention, the low grav is inherent to the map as well, so we can't really turn that off. All of that, plus my own personal feelings means that I'd rather make new stuff for new locales. I think it's cooler, and keeps things more unique.
Aww, don't nix the Lunar Ranger! He's the masked guardian of the moon, standing alert atop your base, watching...always watching.
(Just put him further away if he's not up to close scrutiny? )
What about putting lights (like a lamp or something) out at the end of the map and lights around the base and the outdoor detail stuff, and just keep the base light up with a lightsource inside the base? And you should probably keep it around earth night dark instead of darkside of moon dark.
And yes, I can only shoot one reflection map per map. . . so I have to pick a default state to use. . . sorry it doesn't match up to your hideout.
Also I do sorta like the Space Ranger and the full moon view, I just wished that maybe the Space Ranger was at the exit not the roof.
Note: Actually removing Pluto will result in possible moon based death lasers fired at all taco like objects
Also, for another Cave option, I'd love to see a Pirate theme. Piles of booty!

P.S. Pluto is a dwarf planet and is excluded from the planet list since 2006, as far as I remember (I might be wrong with the year).
All my ideas for now.
