Do you have any damn idea why GWF has these huge buff encounters and feats and such? Because the base damage of the class is AWFUL. Absolute TRASH. Hidden Daggers, Destroyer, Destroyer's Purpose, Focused Destroyer, these stupidly powerful damage multipliers are all necessary for this class to be a good DPS. We can't use anything else because no other setups are at all viable. Without daggers, our damage would be terrible. Everybody would take SW over GWF any day of the week. They don't have to expose themselves to danger for their DPS.
lol the gwf as 20 to 30% too much damage yet is out damaged by hr and sw, it's a great weapons fighter it's ment to do damage it's all its made for, it's not fair that a gf can tank more than a gwf but guess what that's a gf job, my God some of you guys live in a dream world, at the moment the gwf doesn't do enough damage compared to other dps classes which have the advantage of range
I have always been SM Destroyer, even before it was cool. I tested the other paths, and found them to be horrible. Sentinel was never viable for anything except the Intimidation build, that required being BIS at the time to cheap shot people with Come and Get it. So, until Mod 6 GWF was not a DD at all and instead only an off-tank and PVP monster. So, it does not need another set of nerfs that send us back to being nothing but PVP bullies.
for PVE: Mod 0-1, gwf were HAMSTER, inferior damage.
Mod 2: Deep Gash Sentinel damage dealers. Almost unkillable in pvp & top-tier damage in pve.
Mod 3: GWF as Destroyer in either IV or SM versions (roar spamming, front line surge). Nerf to useless of deep gash. Top-tier damage.
Mod 4-5: nerf back to inferior damage (except for the Intimidation builds).
Mod 6-present: SM Destroyer (or IV Destroyer, depending on the player) as damage dealers.
Remove the Sent tree, there is no need for the GWF to be a secondary tank in this game. Instead have a PVP tree (with CC and AoE reducers), a single target tree (mad one on one damage), and a multiple target tree (with crazy bleed effects and + damage to bleeding targets). The GWF should do high damage but with high risk. The class in it self isnt to tanky but with the right enchants, boons, insignias it can be but that isnt a class problem it is game mechanic one. The sprint mechanic is just silly, why run away from a fight? Give the class a side step dodge w/1 sec immunity.
I checked the tooltips for Wicked Strike, Sure Strike and Weapon Master Strike with the new preview update. Wicked and SS no longer mention that they deal slightly reduced damage to targets struck beyond the first, but WMS still does.
@amenar, thanks for fixing those 2 tooltips, can you comment on if the unchanged tooltip for WMS is an oversight or if there is actually an intended change here?

@someonedies, in the unstoppable tooltip the 200% refers the maximum bonus damage that can be applied to get increased temp HPs. I agree that it is poorly worded though

@amenar Any news on the GWF Unstoppable bug front?
What level 70 content is harder? My GWF is only 2.6k and I never dip below 90℅, unless it's a one shot situation. Using Lia's build I can get into Unstoppable very quickly, and then it's game over for whatever I'm fighting.
I only recently started, so I don't have knowledge re: the old temp hit points, but this current version seems to work just fine.

The old temp hp was relative to damage bonuses if it is trully going to be increased then it should be the same regardless of sentinel, instigator or destroyer.

2. Prevent the class hater trolling & tend to destory the class via couple of paragraph with freak typing data values feedbacks
