Sentinel needs its own feats reworked and updated. Playing Sentinel is akin to a skinny guy picking a fight in a bar of muscleheads and getting pounded to sand. So much threat, no damage or survivability.
Probably won't help much. Sentinel faces a similar issue that the combat HR faces. Base damage of some attacks are so laughably low. Most of the feats are fine actually. Only change it needs is something that allows it to initially absorb a greater amount of damage, or be able to get unstoppable easier. What kills the tree is pathetic damage and the inability to take large hits at the start of combat.
Maybe one of it's feat can stack temp HPs with encounters similar to the OP so it can sponge enough damage in the mean time.
Yes, but this is in the context of Battle Fury being changed to a dedicated party buff, and other classes may get a lot of damage from dailies or DoTs. A Sentinel GWF's goal isn't to do damage anyway. They are supposed to tank, but they can't tank.
I think Sentinel's capstone should make it so that it always enters combat with full Determination. That's just the beginning of what it needs to be viable. The DR buff can't exceed the DR cap, either, so it's useless to anyone with good enough gear.

Hey everyone, thanks for all the feedback. We will definitely take all of this down and track it. I wanted to clarify though - we are not doing a Great Weapon Fighter review this module. These changes came as a side-effect of working on the Guardian Fighter. The GWF is most definitely in need of a class review, and it will get one soon, but not this module.
We'll continue to take a look at any of the powers adjusted for this module, but further review won't be happening just yet.
You definetly need to something about getting one hit as a GWF with 175k to 200k hp lol. People hardly even play gwfs anymore especially on xbox. Please keep this in mind. IDK MAYBE MAKE US HAVE MORE CRIT RESISTANCE or something?

@amenar Do you have any updates on what happened with the GWF at-will tooltips saying that damage is slightly reduced for every target hit beyond the first? Based on mod 6 changes this should not be in the tooltip at all.
-edit- There are a number of incorrect tooltips for GWF powers as well. Daring Shout for example still says that the mark will fall off if you get hit. There are a bunch of other incorrect tooltips and if you are interested in fixing these (please!) I would be happy to come up with a list

i find it surprising that no gwf said something about how hidden daggers right now is op encounter and needs tune down
so i do it for the sake of class balance
hidden daggers currently give u 40% dmg buff ( which after itf nerf is the single most strongest buff encounter in the game, and u gave it to allready the most dps class in the game )
problem that make it so op and unbalanced it has also 3 charges ,, so most gwf can keep this buff 80%-100% uptime allmost all the time , oh and also this encounter have great dmg on top of all
my suggestion for class balance is to rework it like this
option 1. keep the 3 charges aka it remain spamable encounter, but reduce the buff to 10%-20% boost max at rank 4 + reduce the dmg dealt from this encounter
option 2. change it to more tactical encounter aka keep the 40% dps boost and the dmg dealt from this encounter but make it with one charge only and long cd between activation
You do have a good point. Plus it does not require a target to cast and hit can hit more that one target. Compared to Wicked Reminder which requires 3 stacks to get %25 buff and you have to be right next to the target to cast. Plus WR does little damage

Do you think one shot from TR is right? 'Ruler' of pvp without dodge or high burst dmg? Are you joking? CW who is master of CC even if they state SW has more CC. Saw some oppressor fights where GWF couldnt even scratch mage. What GWF has is damage, and its not high burst damage. Only geared GWFs (3.5k+) make threat in PvP while GF or TR can be less geared. Atm in PvE SW can deal even more damage, and I doubt upcoming changes will make him worse. HR deal decent dmg as well. With new bonding system (and its loops with DC, ITF uberbuff) all high geared trully PvE DPS speced classes deal huge dmg. I remember some decent TRs who were in top of zerg DPS.
