How about fixing the ridiculous lag that happens in this mission more often than not? I've tried it exactly twice, and both times, Leeta whips out the Lag Generator and makes the mission completely unplayable because can't move, can't fire, take a boatload of damage... almost not worth finishing. Can't run from them…
Looks like the script kiddies are at it again. Would it really be too much to ask that they be arrested and prosecuted? You know, actually DO SOMETHING about them, instead of rushing to fight off their BS?
And still no fix for Beginning of a New Future? Great job, guys, that one's been reported quite a few times over the last four months, and you still haven't fixed it.
You talk to Foreman Kylor to get the mission, which he then gives you a random area on New Romulus to complete a mission in. You can get the mission from the NPC in that area just fine, and can complete it no problem. It's just that, when you talk to Foreman Kylor to complete Beginning of a New Future, he doesn't…
•The episode “The Vault” cannot be completed. Good to see you at least even acknowledge the problem. Now, since this prevents story advancement, I think it'd take a bit higher priority on fixing, don't you think?
Gotta love how threads like this bring out the crybabies and whiners and know-it-alls. That being said, thanks for the heads-up, Trendy, I don't envy you your job one bit right about now, on both the technical and Admin levels.
Thanks for not extending the bonus XP time to compensate for the crashes and server instability issues that you must have had about 5000 reports on. Thanks.
When you consider that the whole ten people that care enough about beta testing to log into Tribble can't catch even a quarter of the things that five hundred people mass-logging onto the server at once get hit with...
How about the lovely "Outfit uses invalis parts" bug, even though these are the same uniforms they gave us in a promotion? I refer specifically to the Wrath of Khan uniforms. Every single time I try to use one, I get that message, and it does nothing. Thanks, Cryptic.
And there's absolutely zero reason we should have to do this. This should have been an instant conversion into the new products required for crafting, not putting half a hundred stacks in our inventory to have to click one at a time.
Kinda nice how PWE won't let you upgrade all Tier 5 ships to T5U. I have one character with a Mirror Heavy Cruiser Retrofit, which is technically a T5 ship, but it can't be upgraded. Real slick how they funnel you into getting a P2W ship in order to upgrade it.
This is, of course, assuming that the dev team listened to anything that was reported on Tribble. Which, in my experience there, is less likely than usual (but not completely impossible).
Consider yourself lucky you even get that far. The launcher for me disappears, the screen goes black for a brief instant, then I get the crash box. Two games, four crashes, same spot. Great coding job.
