Tier 6 ships

I'm a lvl 50 VA tac right now, how do I receive a tier 6 ship? By lvling up or purchase?

    You buy them.

    T6 is now somehow the exclusive class and therefore not being considered for a free give-away.

    But you should calculate how many ships you are interested an, and If it wouldn't be cheaper to buy the DR pack.

    One T6 ship costs 3000 Zen now, and the DR pack with 9 ships, Boffs, Upgrades,.. is 12.500 Zen

    Anyone else having to rebuild your ship tray after beaming up on the Intel Ships? The Guardian Cruiser does not have this problem.:confused:
    So, I just push the buttons and things blow up? Fascinating...

    I only this problem with my reputation skills: Undine shield and torpedoes. Every I change map those 2 powers disappear from the power tray. It happens with both my Qib and Mah'ta so it is not only an Intel ship problem.

    This problem is not exclusive to Intel ships. This problem is so old that it's been around since STO's launch. My hopes of this getting fixed died back in 2011.

    Kinda nice how PWE won't let you upgrade all Tier 5 ships to T5U. I have one character with a Mirror Heavy Cruiser Retrofit, which is technically a T5 ship, but it can't be upgraded. Real slick how they funnel you into getting a P2W ship in order to upgrade it.

    A bunch of the give a way ships get free upgrades. Both risian ships, both breen ships, and the dyson destroyers.

    Also, the hazari escort is quite affordable on the auctionhouse. Plus, given they've given away over 700 lobi from various events, if you've saved up you'll have enough for a free one the next time they do a feature episode reply (should be right near the winter event).

    Last, we don't know yet what will happen with the winter event, might get another free upgrade to 5u, or might get the first free t6.
