PvE Task Force Operations (icon on mini-map) -> Private (tab at top) -> Select TFO you want to run solo -> Start Private Task Force Operation (button at bottom) -> wait a second or two... -> you'll pop into the TFO

The Klingon Recruit outfit has a cape. The Omega Rep outfit has a cape for Klingon Honor Guard.

This is an MMO. In an MMO you need to progress. In most MMOs that way is to defeat enemies. Unfortunately STO is not a Star Trek simulator, but rather a game. Argument resolved. You're welcome.

Personally they don't bother me so much that are tied to other players, I can always go elsewhere...they do bother me when they spawn for me...and it's the only reason I bought an inexpensive non-combat pet

It appears to be yet another example of Cryptic's quality assurance. It doesn't exist in the list of available TFOs. No way to complete it.

i have the same problem on my recruit; just make sure you've save a loadout under your ship so you can quickly revert back to what it should be...

In space, I do see the tooltips on my weapons when flying the Romulan ship. I'll keep an eye on it to see if it progressing - I'm in that space between 100 and 500 ambush kills, so it might be a few days before I know. Thanks for replies.

I am having a similar problem. It started for me today. I cannot assign BOFF abilities (at least the correct abilities based on rank) on the Stations tab. E.g., most of the abilities on certain BOFFs only show the Ensign rank ability, no other abilities, even though they are promoted to Commander. Then...sometimes a higher…

Oddly I logged into today and I received credit for the upgrade! Yay! But quickly found another bug...which I have reported and will report here.

Which is the bug; it leveled past it - technically it leveled MK XIII and XIV...before it settled on XV. Why would it be literal when the developers know there are mechanisms in the game which would level it past 14 automatically - I am sure they are smart enough to account for this, no? Kind of breaks the recruit event…

It is pretty easy to do...if you know how. Most of do. So no need to describe the process.
