madran ship missing in ninth rule

I am missing madran's ship in ninth rule mission so I am unable to tractor it.
when accelting the mission I have to fly to a point where madran is and upon arrival I see the ship, then I have to defeat 2 waves and get the good news, bad news dialog and after that have to fly to new point where madran is but there is no marker for that point nor is there madran's ship, I do get the dialog from madran. now I can not tractor the ship and have to cancel the mission.
I have done this mission several times and atleast 5 times I had to cancel because the ship was missing to be tractored, it is getting to the point of being annoying. I have a screenshot but I am unable to upload it.
