Limited time costume promotions

There are currently two costume promos that can be claimed for the next two weeks. They are the Vulcan Cybernetic Bundle Outfit Box Giveaway and the "Vulcan Bob Hairstyle with Accessory" costume pack giveaway. It appears that these are a per character unlock instead of account wide. At least that's how it worked for me today. Tested with a Fed female captain claimed both an unlock the parts. Switched to another Fed female captain alt and the parts were not unlocked. Each alt can claim the boxes however to give you the costumes for each character, but I'd bet future characters won't be able to claim the boxes after the offer ends.

Thanks for the info.

I hope they'll change it to an account-wide unlock. Maybe they plan to add it to the Phoenix box or something similar in the future though.

I hope they make it account wide and this was a bug, too. Oh god I don't want to have to repeat this process on all 60+ characters or miss out forever. >_<

OK, I'm not at 60+ characters, but I'm not looking forward to have to log them all in either.

OK, I'm not at 60+ characters, but I'm not looking forward to have to log them all in either.

Why not? As a very rare or rare reward, it could be a good way for players to unlock it in the future. Assuming, of course, that they won't make it an account-wide unlock now.

I can imagine. I went through far fewer than that myself. On the other hand I discovered some leftover Dilithium and ECs on alts I've neglected for some time and moved them to my main.

And quick note about the hairstyle and hairband... T'Lyn wasn't the first to rock it. Veterans may recognize the texturing on the hairband matches that of Lt. Valeris' hairband in Star Trek VI. Its just that T'Lyn from Lower Decks is the most recent to use that hairstyle and hairband. So not only is it a Lower Decks hairstyle, its a TMP era hairstyle.

there's a LONG list of hairs that can't use the Headband. Well, technically there's 3 headhands. Headband 01, Headband 01, and Headband_03. Yes, two of them have the same name, but a different position on the head. And positioning is the only real difference.

Each hairstyle is only able to use one of the three Headbands. Which one varies by hairstyle.

Ah. Didn't notice. Also... Andorian Antennae does not play well with the Hairband.

I only noticed because I happened to realize one of them had a 03 on it. So I made a point to compare the two. why is it different? Then went nuts looking at every single hairstyle.

Well my Alien toon could use the hair just fine, it looked funny on her but it worked.

EDIT:It's not as bad as I remember it being though still not quite her style.

Any word on if/when this will be changed to account unlock? The promotion ends in 13hours (at the time of this post).

Update:
Well, looks like the promo's gone. Hopefully it'll be added later in some fashion that unlocks for the whole account and I'm not talking about on Mudd's store.
