If you want to go pure canon for the defiant, your front would be the Quad Phaser Cannons, and the rest would be torpedo tubes, likely quantums (I dont ever recall seeing it fire photons from the front). The back would be an Omni phaser and photons. You could replace a some of the fore weapons with dual phaser cannons, as…
Looks good! Any chance the revamp will include new hairstyles, and a redo of the standard Klingon armor? It looks like it was an attempt to recreate the armor they've worn in TNG/Voy/TNG, but fell short. Plus it's original from launch, were as the Feds got all new, and obviously the Romulan stuff is also newer.
They have issues regardless of what faction they choose. If they do the Cooperative, they may need to find a way to appease the lifetime subs. If they do a Cardassian faction, you have all the players who have spent hundreds of millions in EC, or real money on the currently available Galor, which would then become…
I always kind of suspected the Cooperative was going to make it as a playable faction before the cardassians would, although with whichever one they did, they'd have to make up a good number of new ships, especially since I highly doubt, even with them pushing the limits on playable ship size, they would ever allow players…
So heres a question... Since for some stupid reason they decided to make Uneasy Allies a level 60 mission, does that mean if you haven't done it, your locked out of the two new ones, even though the new ones are level 10?
Level 50, stopped just at the end of the cardassian arc, with only the last mission there left. Waiting for the server wide xp bonus to take effect becore continuing, should take a nice chunk out of the 50 to 60 grind.
While the Cardassian arc (up until Second wave) is horrible in terms of rewards, that doesn't change that going from level 50 to 55 requires just as much, if not more XP then it does to go from 1-50, and the rewards don't scale appropriately like the rest of the game either.
Yeah, thats why I said appropriate content for those grades. They could take the SWTOR kind of approach with it, and not even give you a ship to command up until your at a level were it would make more sense then as a cadet (a little into Ensign?), and just fill level 1-9 and a couple into Ensign with ground based…
IMO they dug themselves into a whole with the rank system. I personally think the top rank should be Captain/Romulan Commander. I think, atleast for the fed side, the ranks would have made alot more sense if they went along the lines of this, and with appropriate content for those grades 1-9 Cadet 10-19 Ensign 20-29 Lt JG…
Does this apply to any mission we get an issue like this? I am also having the same problem on "Everything old is new", were it is forcing me to replay the entire 23rd century portion again.
Why not convert torpedo launchers over to how the omega plasma torpedo launcher works? But give them like a 3 or 4 shot clip for photons, quantums, and plasmas, and 2 shot for tricobalt and Chroniton, and transphasic? Or, an alternative to that is make them function much like energy weapons now. For example, a phaser beam…
While it does say the canon galaxy has 12 arrays, It's still somewhat represented in the game, as most of the phaser strips are there, and depending on the angle you are firing at, your single phaser array represents probably 2-4 strips. My biggest problem with it all though is that if you fit multiple arrays, they all…
