For my Dyson i just put an Omni beam of the flavor for the main type the ship uses, the cutting beam and then either a turret, the proton weapon or some mines in the 3rd rear slot. Works very well.
Im fairly sure the point of the super disable system was to convert players into the skill level of an NPC. That way a Pve player can feel just as good at doing pvp as they do in pve.
That statement kinda confused me. Its like saying. "Good work. But you had to log into the game to do that.... If you can do it telepathically from windows paint then id be impressed"
My question is this. How did you get the 25% chance to reduce cooldowns by 50% on that deflector at that level? I upgraded mine and got nothing of the sort...
I did a test on all the non pvp mods. Over and Rapid are random chance. However all the others, thrust, snare, pen etc. They are 100% chance, but only last for the duration of the weapons fire cycle.
The Vulcan clicky trait "Mental Discipline" Breaks you out of the Skittering buggers holds. Looks cool too. You grab them off and throw them to the ground :)
As a sci player and a keen user of Photonic Officer in my builds id really like it to be given a look over and maybe a buff. Not to the extent of the 3x tech double aux to battery. But still would be nice if it gave more of a reduction than it currently does. Id also like to chime in about the shield stripping abilities.…
Only one Omni beam of any type. I tried to fit the Omni beam from Sphere of Influence on the same ship as an omni tetryon beam and it would not allow me to do so.
Yours is very similar on boff setup to my own. Id swap out Sci team 1 for Polarize hull. Swap the 2nd Tss2 for Sci team 2 and swap the fire at will for overload. Or just drop the beam power all together and just have the beam for subsystem targeting. Then just have 2x rapid fires/scatter vollys depending on what you wanna…
Still no word on when the Dyson "Proton Energy matrix" 3 part bonus will be fixed? Its still only providing a 20 second cool down reduction rather than the full 60 seconds its supposed to.
Yeah I took the advice of the Lystent n lowered the bloom. Did the trick for allowing me to now see the ship (also gave me a few extra fps) Still annoying though.
Well on tribble my rom ops have been working since the last patch. Pretty much went back to normal after they fixed up the trait settings for non aliens to have 9 slots rather than 10. So seems to have been fixed for a while.
Probably should note that picture of the set bonus for the undine weapon set is now out of date. It no longer provides a damage bonus of any kind. Just a 2% extra chance for the bio weapons to proc (makes it 4.5%)
