i I think he is referring to the fact that we let the Iconians live instead of making sure none survive. which makes no sense considering Sela tried to actually kill them and not to mention she has lots and lots of other crimes that everyone else wants her to pay for.

we want them Romulan Republic Citizen Vulcans which would mean they would wear Republic Clothing and Uniforms and the KDF allied Romulans would also get to have Vulcans also to have the ability to have a Vulcan Romulan Republic Commander.

If we were going to involve the Mintakans the only logical thing to do would be have the Tal Shiar stumble across mintaka III and be like hey lets enslave the Mintakans then the republic would find out and have to liberate them and then maybe just maybe Mintaka III will join the Repulic.

It would be cool if the Tal Shiar invaded Mintaka III and tried to enslave them kinda like the remans and then the Republic supports the Mintakan people and then we find out they come from Vulcan like the Romulans. I think something like that would be great.

Spock was a big influence in D'Tan's life and with D'Tan being the leader of the Republic it makes sense that the statue would be there.
