I also have the same problem with a Romulan character that uses corrosive plasma.

Happens to me a lot and it seems to interrupt firing cycles and lower my dps. Hopefully this issue gets fixed soon.

For me a huge issue with the game is getting low fps on a decent pc (AMD-FX 6350 cpu, GTX 970 gpu). Most recent triple A games run very well on my system (60fps, high graphic detail) but STO can slow down to 20 even 10fps. Hiding the GUI almost quadruples the fps is some parts of the game. I recently moves back to Windows 7 after having constant problems not been able to boot into Windows 10 (PAGE FAULT IN NON_PAGED AREA). My fps in the Dyson battlezone has doubled, I will be staying in Windows 7 for the foreseeable future.

Thanks for that, it seems to have helped a bit, at least stfs are more playable now. I do hope Cryptic fix the issue with HUD/GUI. It's depressing how much it reduces the fps.

I have the same problem, despite having a gtx 970 and an AMD-FX6350 I get very poor fps. In CCA I get below 5fps. In much more modern games I have no problem getting over 60 fps with high graphic settings.

I've noticed the same thing recently, I'm not having the problem now but I did notice the problem about a week ago. Everything looked fine but the textures on the uniforms looked low rez. I've had the same computer for about 6 months and I have a gtx-970. Everything else is working fine.

I'm having the same problem. The game got crazy lag in the middle of mirror invasion. Quit the game and tried to log back in. Now I'm getting the message "unable to establish connection to patch server".

I've ran two mirror invasions today on my mac pro. The mac version so far seems to be running much better. I've had no crashes. One of my characters is at DS9 which for me was one of the worst places for crashes. So far it's been fine. :)
