  • Aye, I even recommended in the first two minutes of said video to not post it here. That's not true though. There is still Zen being sold for Dil every day. About $3,000 USD worth of Zen Daily based on the latest numbers from Plan_Tain on r/sto. Just because many of us in this thread don't personally have a need for Dil…
  • A2B is once again the meta method of CDR. Especially with the Cold Hearted trait from last year's winter event ship leaving A2B as the only ability that can proc it on most ships.
  • Intel on the LTC Eng would've interfered with Aux2Bat setups.
  • [REDACTED - BMR]
  • We decided earlier to not make the change for 50k. Only 75k and Prime will be changed. This was based on feedback we received throughout the day. We welcome any feedback on the topic. Is why we've announced it a head of time.
  • Very much so. Most don't have enough dil on hand to buy enough Phoenix upgrades to last them until the next Phoenix event, meaning they still end up buying upgrades. As for the Romulan upgrades, while nice, getting a large quantity of them isn't the quickest thing ever.
  • Here's the full stream: https://youtu.be/CS17RZ1sIf4 Will be breaking it down into the specific matches much later this week.
  • Phased Tetryons are weapons with dual procs, which leaves them in the same situation as Rom Plasma. Borticus commented about that issue on reddit. Basically, they need to have a [Proc] mod added on to help make them compatible with this system.
  • #1) Are there any plans to redo PvE queue rewards to get people engaged in the queues? Almost everything PvE queues currently offer is made easily available from other sources, resulting in people simply not playing most of the queues. Maybe add some gear or items available exclusively as chance drops at the end of queues…
  • With the groups I'm around, that's close to an annoyance I've heard before. Most sets in the game simply suck, whether it be due to the set bonuses just being bad or having never been buffed to adjust to competitive options released afterwards. As one of those that will pop in and insta-vape stuff in PvE queues, it's an…
  • The DPS-#'d channels have two foundry maps for solo testing. DPSMark (on Advanced) as mentioned above, simple DPS everything map. DPS Under Fire (on Elite), this is a map that will test your durability also. Another one that I've recommended to a few is my map "Borg Infestation" (on Elite). I originally made it for use…
  • It's based on the 8,337 unique players that were on the table at the time of pulling the data. Regardless if they're parsing or not, if anyone on the team does and hits upload, they all go up there. ISA has been one of the few queues always popping over the years, Borticus even tweeted that it was one of the top 5 queues,…
  • Just an update, these weapons were not in the intended state, so the data isn't valid. See Borticus's comment on Reddit regarding these weapons. https://www.reddit.com/r/stobuilds/comments/7hovq1/fleet_colony_space_energy_weapons_analysis/dqxd3ml/
  • Anyone in ISA with someone parsing will be uploaded (if they meet the requirements) when the person parsing hits the upload button. So, say I pug an ISA. If I'm parsing and hit the upload button at the end, everyone on my team just had their DPS score uploaded to the DPS league table if they met the combat time requirement…
  • Korfez was balanced to a point which was more than the top 10% pre-S13. I think you can probably get by in it still if you're in that top 10% block and know what to do. In any case, that top 10% right now is still ~800 players. Large enough to me to justify it, especially with the $ those players put in to grab something…
  • That data was from SCM pre-S13, so the numbers may be a bit off right now. Anyone in an ISA run with someone parsing that uploads will be uploaded if they meet the requirements. This means the DPS tables have quite a bit of data on players that don't participate in the DPS channels. Now, looking at the data again, we have…
  • Yes, Korfez is one of the hardest queues now, sets a good standard for what Elite content should look like. It's just unfortunate that it has no Normal or Advanced setting so more people can enjoy it. It really is a great queue. Ideally, you want 5 people for it that are all doing >75k DPS with that build in ISA. 75k DPS…
  • The issue posted on reddit a few weeks back was fixed the day after. The patch yesterday was just to make sure provision contributions were tracked on the leaderboard.
  • Good work on getting them numbers Dukedom. As is, this fleet holding will hurt the game much more than help. I get what they're trying to do, but they're several years too late. Most fleets died out with Delta Rising, and very few have recovered. Adding in a holding with such an absurd grind is not the type of content that…
  • I'm not sure the change in how "Provisions" are acquired is going to work out so well. Will really hurt many older or smaller fleets that don't have that large of a playerbase nowadays. Are the colony (luxury / battery / ore) provision requirements currently accurate? Seemed a bit excessive. What are all of the sources of…
  • They said they're just starting to look into these consoles on the stream yesterday. Didn't have anything else yet to say.
  • Honestly, I don't attribute the game being "more structured" at this point due to the rebalance. The reality is what you hinted at in your first sentence. The DPS race was dying out since the massive powercreep with the Skill Tree revamp, and S13 put the nail it the coffin. If there were as much min-max activity as there…
  • For many, playing STO has turned into something similar to a mobile game basically. Just log in and start up doff/ admiralty stuff. Not many actually flying around and doing content, which is pretty sad. Now, as for "Add small Dilithium rewards for PvP kills and/or reward winning teams." Having ANY additional rewards for…
  • I think you should check the DPS table on SCM for HSE @meimeitoo Unless this counts as underperforming:
  • Now Proton and Drain have taken over the PvE DPS tables. Perhaps we'll see a fix now?
  • They haven't really done much directly for PvP this year at all. PvP in 2017: - PvP Scoreboard fixed with S13, broke with a patch a week or two later. Still broke months later. - Multiple things have popped up and ruined overall PvP balance post-S13* Constant High Speed Potential due to Competitive Rep Engines and stacking…
  • No worry, post is only a few days old. You can have as many keybind files active at the same time as you want. Any that use the same key will override that key if you had used it in another bind. Space / Ground are separate as far as keybinds are concerned, so what you load for ground or space will only affect ground or…
  • I like the idea, just could use a few tweaks. For how simple many of the goals are, I think nearly all of the rewards are good. Maybe just bump up the R&D rewards up a bit, throw a chance in for an accelerator maybe? Another source of those would certainly help a few people out. The issue I see here is just 1 of these…
  • Not had a chance to read the whole thread, but just adding some of what I've seen. Season 13 has led to the lowest point of activity that I've ever seen for the DPS Channels. Engagement in high end DPS stuff had already been dropping quite a bit over the last year, but S13 ultimately killed off most of what was left. Fleet…
  • Before we get to the names of all the winners, want to thanks all that participated. We had some issues with the parser uploads, but thankfully that was finally resolved the other night. Winners will be contacted by, June 18th @ 11:59PM CST. They will have until June 25th @ 11:59PM CST to respond, otherwise a new winner…
