It's clearly obvious that they are asking for some non-discovery ships to be released for a change, we haven't had many for a while now outside of the Titan. You clearly haven't thought out your response that well and are assuming they are buying things they don't want.
The fanbase doesn't think they have the authority to declare what is canon, they are pointing out the inconsistencies the new show is having with the previous established canon.
The crossfield class, it looks like a rusty pizzacutter and is so disproportionate, it's the fugliest thing I have ever seen. The universe class doesn't look good at all, it looks like an oval pancake with spindly nacelles.
The excelsior is fine, the Discovery on the other hand is fugly it looks like a rusty pizza cutter, the Universe is not much better either as it looks like a squashed pancake with spindly naccelles.
Anybody notice how they keep adding something from discovery to the news pictures now? When they talked about the Jem battlezone they showed the uss discovery, and on this they showed the discovery uniform. Neither have anything to do with what was advertised.
It's nu canon called canon despite the fact that it clashes with the rest of the canon in Star Trek's entirety. They could make the Klingons unicorns which fartout rainbows and it would still be considered canon.
