Typically a ship like this would be in a lock box or promo pack, but they choose a pic of this ship to represent the personal endeavor system. What do you think this means?

I think it's about as meaningful as the picture of a Cardassian Hideki on a gamma quadrant duty officer pack.
When you see "TRIBBLE" in my posts, it's because I manually typed "TRIBBLE" and censored myself.

Personally... I think it means "wait and see what happens". Also... stock image, like that of the ISS registry on Discovery.
I can't take it anymore! Could everyone just chill out for two seconds before something CRAZY happens again?!

Personally I'm thinking more about the winter ship, mixed feelings...means the chances for getting a T6 Karfi rises...but it's another piece of exclusivity that the KDF loses.

TECHNICALLY... the Kar'fi is not a KDF design.
It is a stolen Fek'lhri design.
Also... we're out of Breen ships. And I guess Fek'lhri would be a logical step considering last year's introduction of the Kramp'lhri.

You know, as much as I dislike the idea of taking Fek'ihri ships away from the KDF and make it a cross faction event ship, what you posted does make at least a little bit of sense. More so that the usual fed centric how dare KDF get their own event ship...when the feds have had that done before just fine.
Q's dancing girl choices may also have been a subtle hint... Depending on the social zone you go to they could be either Breen or Fek'lhri.
Well, if it gets more Fek'lhri ships in-game, I'm all for it.

I guess the only question I'd have, is did they ever fix the skin issue?
I think it is now, but it seems to be the same kind of deal as with the Intrepid nacelle animations and STF Borg. Cryptic fixes something unrelated, and those particular things break.

I know...but the Kar'fi was a KDF only ship...Fek'lhri were mostly a Klingon problem except for what, one mission in the Gamma chapter?
I guess I shouldn't be surprised that nothing is sacred, unless it's Fed.

The T6 version of the D'Kyr is a ROMULAN ship. So no, not even Fed stuff is sacred.
They just needed a pic for a new system that is in an early stage of development and probably does not even have much potential to show off any pics.
The reason why the disco Enterprise has been chosen here by Cryptic is probably the same reason why the producers of Discovery felt the need to integrate it in the show as well:

The only way you're getting a Connie that isn't in an R&D Pack is if they decided to make it an event ship, such as making the next Winter ship a Discovery-style T6 Constitution.

Surhuelh is part of the T6 MMSV bundle. The description of the Taenen variant specifically states the hull was developed based on the Vesta and "modern Vulcan starships". Surhuelh's description talks about how it's similar to the Aventine. The Galas variant specifically mentions the Vestas and "Vulcan science vessels" as part of the inspiration for it's design. Also the hull material for the Galas is a red/brown similar to the D'Kyr.
Technically the D'Kyr is not mentioned by name, but... yeah.

Well it doesn't use a M/AM system....it doesn't have a deployable craft...it has a hangar bay...most vulcan ships don't use nacelles...it doesn't look much like the D'kyr, all it has in common really is the ring.
That hull material you speak of is available on every Romulan ship since LoR launched.
Just because it borrowed a little Vulcan design aesthetic (Romulans and Vulcans are related) doesn't mean that it's "OMG T6 D'kyr".
There is a huge difference between having one design marker in common and taking the Fek'Ihri, a race who's only playable options belonged to the KDF, and then give them to everybody.

Kinda beat me to it, probably means that is around the time they'll put the Discovery Connie in a promo pack.
They had some stock art lying around.

So it may be nothing more than a photo from the Discovery show to hype the console content for that month.
It's way too big of a money maker for them to pass on.
