boo. I already didn't go there due to the minute long loading time. Now it will be 2 minutes I guess. For me Sol space is the only problem area like this. I wish we could beam directly to academy or spacedock from sector.
I think 6000 zen a year is reasonable. It feels like a pittance to me. I guess it wouldn't really matter how many characters you have as long as you could only refine 8000 per day. So I'd make that the limit. At least somewhere between 8 and 16. They could also sell half the ships and other stuff for dilithium if they…
I understand they would be reducing their "double dipping" on getting paid on both ends of the market, but at 500 the amount is so pitifully small it seems fair. As a comparison in LOTRO you can gain LOTRO points for "free" by doing deeds. The company gives the main currency in this way for free. Sure, there is no market,…
the backlog of people with dilithium has got to be so massive now I don't believe there is anything that can be done to bring it down from 500. Cryptic should just buy all orders for 500. This is already a big win for them considering the paltry minuscule amount of zen one gets in return. I personally would not sell at…
my main complaint is i'll be back to obsessively watching my number before playing then checking to see if I got the 50. if I recall correctly I finished on day 4 of the 4th event last time. So I expect to finish now hopefully on day 5.
just completed at 6:10 pm eastern. No Progress. I assume there will be no progress today. Probably you need to advance the featured to advance the campaign. I'm fairly annoyed.
I doubt that they will lose more than 1% of players from this. I'll be generous and say 5%. I used to play on a desktop that would be about 10 years old. It played great. That computer died so I had to switch to my laptop which is about 7 or 8 years old now. I didn't think it would work but it plays ok with low graphics.…
I don't do endeavors that take more than 5 minutes so for TFO I would certainly skip. I support the idea of buying reroll tokens. But I've probably only bought around 20 this entire time.
this is a truly LOL-worthy bug. I went in and opened a blue endeavor box and promptly got a fancy crash notification I'd never seen before. This is one of the biggest bugs ever introduced to the game. Kudos!
Aye. Well said. I was more strict with the game years ago, especially around delta rising. But I've taken it very casually for the last 5 years. And say it's just really great that the game exists. Endeavors were a swell addition. As was the mega campaign. Even though I still haven't cashed in my chit :)
Yeah, really outstanding episode. I sort of liked playing a wimpy character without my magic powers. It was balanced perfectly to use both terran abilities then pop a hypo before dying. double Janeway with double espresso. Yes Please!
what i mean is - since you need 2 progress for the day - is there any point to doing omega? Last year you could do a patrol as well for another point I think.
if the omega only gives 1 daily progress and there's no other way to get 1 daily progress what's the point of it? Or can you do it on two characters. I don't remember.
I'm assuming it's the 2 week version with the ship token. If so I will do it. It's good to have a ton of those. As to when it starts... hmm... It would be shocking to have a week with no events. But at the same time the anniversary probably starts on the 25th. So those dates might be right.
I think you are right about all of this. The problem is that if they added new sinks - especially fleet sinks - not enough people would do it. In the past you would have fleet leaders buying vast amounts of dilithium to fill these sinks. Now they will look at it and say the #@&! with that. Then if there is something…
I know this won't be popular because it is about something popular. But I think the fleet invites to buy fleet stuff when not in the fleet (also combined with many fleets being finished) is what ultimately killed the exchange. Fair or no, dedicated small to mid-sized fleet leaders kept the exchange afloat for years. But…
Exactly. When I really played this game I would take as much as an hour to obsessively set the ship up. I'd maybe even train new boff skills etc... Then run one thing and never see the ship again. Would I pay to skip? Over the past several years - yes. But now probably not. I may be basically done with traits now. Do I…
Yeah, I was going to make a new thread about this whole experience but I guess I'll just do a little of it here. First of all I've been holding off leveling these ships for as much as 2 to 3 years or more because it's just so odious to me now. And these are traits I really want. Good science traits for my 4 pure science…
