Like I can customize my ship appearance, I want to do the same to my starbase. Definitely the colors, and perhaps the pieces that make up the whole. Sounds like a C-store purchase and/or a special project.

It's a free game, lameness is to be expected. I go ahead and win the mission despite, and don't think twice about who actually participated in the action. Other players are just in my way anyways.

Delays. Delays. Delays. Within 1000 marks of shipyard tier 2. Needed to buy lots of photon torpedo launchers mk1's, figured out holding down the 'Ctrl' key while clicking on 'Buy' negates the 'Confirm Buy' secondary button popup, turning the purchase into a 1 click per item affair. Works for other single item purchases too.

Well, building the starbase exterior tier 1 does give me access to purchasing doff's, but not access to the basic transwarp conduit. I would have to delay long enough to get tier 1 science before I could transwarp through my starbase. Still, 500 FC vs. 15k-30k EC per common doff is a better deal, even if it is just a box…

The fleet starbase has a hangar that can only be filled with 'fleet version' ships that are acquired through starbase projects that can only use fleet gear and access to the ships is a fleet owner selectable feature for what ranks have access to the hangar? I think the sticker is that you can only refine 8000 Dil a day regardless of how much unrefined you have on hand, or if you are a LTS, there is a vendor at SFA who will run doff missions for an extra 1000 dil - as many slots as you care to fill. It only seems to make sense to go to tier 1 with a new fleet that has no facilities already built. A small help for new fleets, just something else to do with an already built fleet.

Thanx. Just remembered, playing on elite earns more marks per mission, duh. EDIT: 4600+ fleet marks, 7 projects - 3 shipyard, 1 'tier 1' starbase, 2 Dil mine, 1 Dil mine 'trade' upgrade - today's effort. 500 fleet marks yesterday.
