The Epohh have started their master plan, being the undercover alpha predator on New Romulus they have taken this first step as there is more than enough meat now on the planet for them now, it is now time for them to strike at those on the planet and those who have unwittingly taken them aboard starships.

That remined me of a Rober A. Heinlin story about a group of settlers that went to a planet and found some crazy rabbit looking things that turned out to be the apex predators.

    No, it was ME!
I remain empathetic to the concerns of my community, but do me a favor and lay off the god damn name calling and petty remarks. It will get you nowhere.
I must admit, respect points to Trendy for laying down the law like that.

    It's clearly the PvPers fault.

*Which means I'm guilty as well D:

EXACTLY!! When all other logical explainations fail - it must be the PvPers fault!!:P

(on a serious note - saving me the trip - has she been rescued yet?)

What? It's not us... If WE did it we'd leave a cryptic note telling you where to go if you wanted to find her.... a quest that would likely require you to spend 6+ hours searching, and memorize several data tables of codes and cyphers to get past the fiendishly complex puzzles. :D

I liked that one. :D the ending was a bit sad, but it made sense in a way.

I can now confirm that she has been missing for over 24hrs!! At what point can the Romulan Federal Bureau of Investigations be called? It seems very suspicious that the 6-8 scientists around where she used to work act like nothing has happened!!

STO is about my Liberated Borg Federation Captain with his Breen 1st Officer, Jem'Hadar Tactical Officer, Liberated Borg Engineering Officer, Android Ops Officer, Photonic Science Officer, Gorn Science Officer, and Reman Medical Officer jumping into their Jem'Hadar Carrier and flying off to do missions for the new Romulan Empire. But for some players allowing a T5 Connie to be used breaks the canon in the game.

Just went in-game and noticed this as well. I've let the team know to track her down.

Sorry for the inconvenience, and we'll work to resolve this.

    Cheers,

this happened before with the officer of the watch lady at the embassy who used to dispence the fleet missions, then one day she reappeared though she was changed somhow, there was a subtle change in her demeanor.
i belive she was replaced by a doppelganger...
    Undine. Obviously.

Students, actually, on their Wilderness Survival final exam. The novel was Tunnel In the Sky; they were supposed to be picked up at the end of a week, but the Ramsbotham gate to the world was disrupted by a nova along its path. It took several years for the authorities to find them...

And I didn't think the ending was all that sad. Rod was guiding a train of settlers through another gate at the very end.

You do realize, of course, that the Tal'Diann has you under surveillance. We've assembled quite a dossier detailing your ... questionable statements, as well as your imperialist sentiments. Bear in mind that your beloved Sela will yet fall before our might.

    The way I remember it...

A group of military cadets is sent to the planet for wilderness survival training. A week long training exercise ends up taking years. By the time they're "rescued" they've built a low-tech but decent colony on the planet. When they get rescued most of them decide to abandon the colony and go back home to try to return to the life they wanted to have before getting stuck there. A few stayed, either because they decided they liked it there or something. But yeah, the planet became a permanent colony and a bunch of new people showed up to build modern buildings and get rid of the huts they were living in. Oh and they were gonna add email services. :D

Anyways, the part I thought was sad was how the group of cadets had become close friends and what not, then they kinda go "see you later" and most of them scatter. I suppose bittersweet would be more appropriate than sad though.

You are most surely aware that I'm not a "he," from posts made in the Romulan gameplay forum, so I have little choice but to assume that this is an attempt to flame bait me, which I will thwart by simply ignoring it.

We had to Thalaron pulse the area to stop the growing Epohh menace, Unfortunately it seems the Epohh Lady was in the cone as well. Oops

And no, Epohhs to not serve the Iconians. Epohhs ARE the Iconians. It's their greatest secret and why they want to conquer the galaxy. After all, if people knew the truth they'd laugh...

Or maybe I've been snorting too many thalarons.

High-school students, actually. It's a prerequisite course if you intend to become either an explorer or a colonist; Rod's parents let him take the course because they thought he'd eventually see the light and take a sensible job (at his father's company, I think, but I might be remembering part of Starship Troopers here). The only reason he got to go was because his sister, a Marine, talked them into it. After all, it was only for a week...

His sister's advice was also why he didn't take any firearms, just a couple of knives (one well-balanced for throwing, the other for cutting things). This advice was borne out when he found the corpse of a classmate - an overconfident young man who'd relied on his energy weapon and German shepherd to protect him from any threats. Oops.

Yeah, IIRC that guy picked a weapon that fired miniature lightning bolts. Great against slow targets but not against fast ones. He actually ran the thing out of power firing at the horde of bunnies...

Guys.... Guys, she's fine. She just went on a little... Holiday. She'll be back soon and everything will be FINE.

Oh by the way, I hear space can be dangerous this time of year. It'd be a shame for any accidents to happen.
