Cute idea but I think it is a waste of time. The variety of pets is rather wide and to get each of them to interact with each other would be a lot of effort for not a lot of gain. Because you know if pet x and y interact but don't interact with pet z, then owner of pet z is going to throw a hissy fit.

In the other games under the PWE umbrella - do pets interact with each other? Seems to me that they do, and PWE is *SO* Happy about integrating all their games together that it seems a logical thing to do here as well. And if not different species interaction, then at least Horta should interact with other Horta, and Crystalline Shards should interact with other Crystalline Shards, ect, even if it is doing nothing more than moving closer to, or circling each other, something - anything.
I've got to admit, the idea of putting pets against each other in a fighting pit has a certain attraction from a Klingon point of view.
But pets are not customizable as bridge officers are and pitting them against each other seems pointless. Also, the Feds would never stand for that in Federation space.
Other kinds of pet interactions could be interesting and fun.
Like Mastiffs and Sehlats snarling, spitting, and lunging at each other without necessarily fighting.
Or Hortas burning messages on the ground when they meet each other.

Devs? Can you put an aggro mechanic on pets that trigger an inertact if they get in range of each other?
This would basically be the same as them "attacking" each other with a range of play animations that do zero damage, right?
Mugato I choooose YOU!!!
