All been said before, but the information on this new page is already provided in game and is generally ignored because it is out of date and/or useless information. And yes, this is a common mistake that developers make. If people do not pay attention to information because it is poorly presented, repeating it in the same…
EPS Manifold Efficiency is probably what the problem is about. The wiki says the descriptions don't quite match, the long description says all other power systems, while the short description says all power systems.
Fed and KDF traits from the Delta Rising pack, but not the Rom trait? (Warp Shadow Decoy) Sad not to see Reciprocity/Overwhelming Force/Tactical Retreat if you already bought the ships, but I can understand why.
I am eagerly looking forward to these heavy weapons, but I do agree. This is an odd time to be add them and 360 Degree + Heavy Railgun don't quite line up in my mind. The Hit and Run Starship Trait looks like it is labeled backwards, it appears to be more of a Run and Hit trait, with the Evasive Maneuvers happening before…
DPS Exotic. Weapons? pft! I do use Torps, but they are not the main source of damage. Aesthetic kinda works as it is pretty, but I do care about damage output as well. Jumble because as well as the torps up front I have a random assortment of junk in back for set bonus, but they mostly sit there rather then shoot?
From what I understand the exact cap will vary because some "free" points don't count against the cap for some reason. So a character that has been though a few giveaway weeks may have 2-8 extra points that don't count towards the cap. I have all trees full +12 points and have not hit a cap yet.
Scaling handicaps per character for exceeding expected performance with the idea to push people to content more their level. I suspect such an idea would be too labor intensive to go back and add to the content we already have, but I think it would be an interesting fix. As a half-baked example, a % damage reflection. Do…
I am curious, why does the Fangs not come in a box like most other recent event reward items? Not really a problem, just something I noticed when I tossed them into the bank next to the agony rifle and Cochrane's shotgun.
Most of the stuff I will have to see in action before I have an opinion, but a couple things really leap out at me. I will probably not be able to make the AMA, but I hope these get asked. My understanding was that multi-target abilities ignored accuracy buffs/debuffs and would need rebuilding from scratch to fix? If this…
No pictures but I had three tries, wave 4 (defeated by tholians), low 30s (defeated by tholians) and 41-ish (defeated by boredom). Would really like to see a more even timer between waves. Had some instantly spawning, others taking close to 5 mins. Enemies: The Tholians are much more deadly then the other enemies of the…
I was under the impression that cloaking at warp speeds (gravitic cloaking) and cloaking at impulse speeds (electromagnetic cloaking) are different, and just because a ship can do one does not necessarily mean it can do the other.
Shield bypassing mine trait and Exotic Damage resistance trait, a fair bit of rule bending in this bundle. What I really wonder about is how they are handling console sets, but that will have to wait for the ship stats news. While 2x 3-piece sets for the Feds, and 1x 3-piece sets each for KDF and Rom are most likely, there…
I kind of wonder why the Avenger rather then the T5 Tactical Escort to match the KDF and Rom ships? (Or the Mogh and Mogai for the KDF and Rom to match the Fed Avenger?)
Sadly most of the in-game product descriptions of the KDF version of bundle ships have similar issues, missing mention of cloaks, cannons or stat block changes from the FED version.
Two Tac slots (and lack of cannons) on the Naj’sov Research Vessel is a minor thing, but story wise, it does seem interesting that the Varanus Fleet Support Vessel had three and an extra .5 turn. I guess a Fleet Support Vessel is expected to get in a fight a bit more often then a Research Vessel? I guess it kinda makes…
"Removed any Duty Officer input requirements on all Reputation Projects and increased the Dilithium input requirements by 100 per Duty Officer that was previously required." There were reputation projects that required duty officers? or should this be about the construction projects? White duty officers are worth 5…
A fair bit of oddness, but I am most interested in that Specialization Kit Modules can not be upgraded. Is that just a for now thing or is that part of the plan? Ferengi nerf?
I play all, but my Science characters are my favorite. Tactical ones gets the most play though, the game just seems built for them. My Engineers are the only ones I have thought seriously about deleting.
The new stuff is OP and will remain OP till it gets nerfed just before the next new stuff which will be OP again. Repeat as needed. Pretty much how MMOs sell stuff.
