That being said, the current story line foes are borg variants and mechanical foes so a poison based kit module will most likely not shine in the current/upcoming content.
Toxic is one of those almost forgotten damage types which has the potential to devastate certain foes. I run a toxic build on a few characters and this module would fit the unconventional style. Downside is that one of the main foes on ground resists toxic so this module is not a one size fits all solution.
Some of the upcoming content in the Star Trek franchise is said to explore the lost era (young captain Garret). If that comes to fruition then STO can latch onto those stories.

Aside from the ships, it'd be fun for theme builds if old ship bound consoles were released for all. For a theme build it'd be nice if the breen consoles could be fitted on cardassian of dominion ships.
Was aiming for the Tier 6 variant of the Malon Battlecruiser. It'd be nice if it had a trait to uplift old, little used boff powers such as Eject Warp Plama or the Theta Radiation console.

Initially i missed the added shield pen for torpedoes on the console, but with a number of options available there already (tachyon drones and happy fleet) i don't know if the console will see a lot of use.
