Happened 5-10 minutes ago. Just managed to login again. Seems server was on life support.
This program, though reasonably normal at times, seems to have a strong affinity to classes belonging to the Cat 2.0 program. Questerius 2.7 will break down on occasion, resulting in garbage and nonsense messages whenever it occurs. Usually a hard reboot or pulling the plug solves the problem when that happens.
At 359 pm mst I can't log into the account server . Did sto finally kick the bucket ?

Unlikely. Probably just some issues connecting. Don't forget world events can impact servers as well, like... say... hurricanes depending on where you are in the world.
Simple answer. Don't use arc to login to sto. Use the .exe file located in your install location. Just type in your password on the launcher. Voila you are in game.
If it stops on a black screen, or freezes up while the loading line is visible, you can use CTRL-ALT-DEL to bring up Task Manager and kill the game.exe and ARC, then immediately (hopefully before the "waiting" rollers stops rolling) start it again from the desktop and it usually connects on that second try.

That's the gameclient failing to launch.
I recall there is a trick, code line to be added to arc executable, to avoid that but sadly i forgot what it is.
This was purely not being able to connect to the server for both arc launcher and arc forums. This may actually be related to the gush of hot air traveling over Florida at that time.
