I'm not enitely certain of this (I'll review the DVD when I'm at home tonight), but they may have used the word in the short Klingon bridge scene in Star Trek: The Motion Picture, as well. If true, this would give the word a 1978 or 1979 origin date, a full decade before TNG even premiered.

Tovan, to me, just seems to come off as a little too whiney at times. I get that he's part of the plot and all, but frankly I was ready to drop him by the time (spoiler alert) that we found his sister. Unfortunately, dropping him isn't even an option.

Loved it. That's what it should've been fromt the start. I really wish I could replay some of my older characters through it. Is there a way to do that? There should be.
