They remove content to force a certain playstyle. It's NEVER a good idea to remove something without something to replace it. The argument of, "well, you can earn more dilithium doing blah blah blah" doesn't hold water. Earning dilithium isn't the point. FUN is the point. You can argue that it isn't fun for you, but then…
Just because you don't know something, doesn't mean it's being kept secret. Now that you have that knowledge though, it doesn't seem like it matters. Get it or don't. It's up to you. What difference is it making in your life other than not being able to share account bound items between characters?
If server maintenance is the worst thing that happens to you today, you're ahead of the game. There's people that wished that was their biggest problem.
Sometimes things happen out of a player's control, and it has nothing to do with them being a noob. Recently, there was a bug preventing ev suits from working sometimes. Not everyone experienced this bug, and those that did didn't encounter it every time.
Quality had nothing to do with why they were pulled. It had to do with forcing players to play the content they want us to play. Not to mention making it harder to farm materials for R&D.
Unless this is actually on Tribble or in upcoming patch notes, it's just a rumor with no basis in fact. Give us something other than, "well, I heard someone talk about it."
