100%, totally agree. Just like there is an in-game, albeit lengthy method of earning dilithium, there needs to be a similar way to earn lobi.

You raise some good points. In return, I'm just going to say this...either Cryptic/PW believes in STO's longevity, or they don't. If it's the former, than expansions are necessary to keep the game fresh. The most profitable expansions would involve new factions. New playable races, boffs, doffs, and ships in the cstore…

I must say I completely agree here. A neutral faction has been something I've advocated for awhile now. It was one of the first things I suggested in that old "short, mid, and long term" wish thread back on the old forums. I also wanted non military careers, ships, and missions. So spot on!

I went ahead and made a ticket, and the reply I got confirmed that this is on PW's end, and there is nothing we as players can do to fix it. PW says we have to manually input our username for each relogin until the problem is fixed by them. I'd cut and paste the reply, but support frowns on that. I know from experience.

I also modded the gameprefs.pref , and after logging in and out, found my old Cryptic username autofilled in when I had the "Remember my username" box checked. I now believe that not even uninstalling/reinstalliing STO would correct this issue. In short, there's nothing we, as players, can do to fix this. This is on PW's…

To clarify my issue, this is not a issue when logging in for the first time. This is only a problem when logging out of the game in order to transfer to a new character. Using "Remember my username" fills in the old Cryptic account username. Obviously, it would help if I could have my new PW account name autofill instead.

Yeah, me too. I have three fed characters who've been saving that rank four military token in order to get that FDO. I did break down and spend 6,000 dil on the blue FDO though.

I expect the "fix" is going to involve uninstalling and reinstalling. I hope I'm wrong. I made a ticket for this same issue, but I don't expect anything to come out of it.
