  • I completely agree with you on all of the above and more. What is the point in restricting colours and costume pieces the way they do? I could see it if say the federation uniforms had more narrow guidelines, but its pretty much a free for all...all of the time. It would be nice if they would just go ahead and open the…
  • Gotta say that last night I was in a KASE pug in my Mogai with a fed cruiser and 3 of the Sphere-carriers...can we say "by the skin of our teeth"? The only ones engaging were me and the fed, the 3 carriers actually hung out beyond weapons reach of the gates and thus added zippo damage to it, of course being a pug you risk…
  • extra-special uniqueness? have you eyes in your skull? there is a myriad of facial/body shaped forms, ect (including androgynous faces) that are not create-able by the human creator that a person can see if use the internet, watch television, go to a mall, have a job with other individuals...and yet you feel justified in…
  • Looked more like the person was pointing out that there are some people in this community who would prize an outfit over the breen ship. I for one would be that person with no interest in the breen ship whatsoever, but would absolutely love a well crafted outfit...you know given that it was equal for both sexes unlike the…
  • Oh so because we would like more options, perhaps a chance to customize more, (you know more options being better than fewer options) you feel the need to come into this thread with some amoeba-minded prattle for what reason? How about if YOU and your tiny box of what is acceptable to ask for in a mmo go find some other…
  • Well there is alot they could do in the uniform/outfit department to just make things better in general. They could have made the open jackets for Feds. with an undershirt/undershirless option for both sexes. They could have done the same for the ferengi jackets, and the cropped winter jackets. (since they already did work…
  • I dont suppose that male toons will now be allowed to wear the cropped winter jackets? It would be appreciated -Seacat
  • Also confirming that KDF allied Romulans can only use the helmet and vest of the Mk XII Omega outfit. -Seacat
  • That looks like a better skin than most of the Federation ones they have come out with, I might have to pick it up for one of my romulan ships. edit: And it looks AMAZING on the KDF ships, much like the old Qonos 1 from "The Undiscovered Country" if I still played KDF I would totally get that!
  • I am pretty much all onboard with the general thoughts of this thread. As ive put it...Cryptic seems to be making all of the starships more like hotrods instead of "streamlined" and majestic. They like to cut holes into ships for whatever reason, they add pointy bits (which are fine, though without an option for smoother…
  • I also have a problem with some of them, Several Romulan purples that refuse to work and then I have some that simply disappeared completely. It really erks me because I spent alot of money on them from the exchange. :(
  • I think the general idea of the ship is good, but I really am not digging all of the negative space. So many holes going through the ship (for me) makes it feel less like a star ship. I realize that it is big but the black webbing between the main hull and nacelles just doesnt do it for me. If we could remove the nacelles…
  • I would SO apply if I knew a thing about making ships in a computer >_<
  • Whats more is that KDF aligned Romulans can not even purchase the Romulan Robes from the Fleet Embassy, since the KDF cant. It really makes me question the thought that the Romulans are a separate faction in the back end when your alliance determines something like buying a Romulan themed outift from an embassy.
  • you mean like the Kerchan Class?…
  • 1. Rome fell, but that was a long time ago. Empires fall and rise up again only to fall and rise again. The real Rome did this over and over (I also include the Byzantine Empire in this), Egypt also did this. They went from periods of great strength and unity to periods of little government (save local) over and over. So…
  • Federation Romulans can wear the robes no problem, but KDF Romulans...no such luck. I asked Branflakes about it a couple weeks ago and he said its not available. It sucks that my fleet ran full steam ahead to get the embassy completed only to find out that we could not use the dang things. -Seacat
  • I noticed that and had a good little chuckle at that, nice to see random stuff like that thrown in.
  • Also from time to time some people end up with costumes that can not be worn, or edited, they just hang around in our list of costumes and we have to start from scratch with them, which takes up another slot.
  • Heck yeah that would be great, tho considering how they drag their feet at adding something as simple as Skants I wouldnt hold my breath. It would be a long road but I would also like to see undershirt-less options and cropped jackets for Male characters as well, and im not holding my breath for that either considering…
  • Not even just that I have been asking for the undershirtless option for males that females have even since the introduced them, the starfleet ones, the ferengi ones, as well as the cropped winter jackets...never an answer. You can check all of the ask cryptics for a long time and there I am, they completely ignore the…
  • May we have undershirtless and cropped jackets for male characters? -Seacat
  • I gotta say that modifying the boffs instead of the cloak itself sounds like the way to go imo. diminishing returns, sure why not? that way if i do not use cloak enhancing boffs then I still get the full benefits of an unmodified cloak that time is comparable to Fed or Kdf cloakspeed
  • for a TNG movie it was just ok, but suffered from several different things going on that simply did not need to be there. We have the main story, the clone backstory, the data story, the Riker and Troi story. There was either too many things interjected or too much cut out of the film to make it a shorter length. And the…
  • oh we are not saying that you are wrong, infact there was Admiral Valdour in enterprise as well, just a little differentiation would be nice is all. :)
  • I think TOS had the different ranks in the different colours per the red and blue, but keep in mind that Romulans love to use organic tones in their uniforms. As far as I can tell the only difference in the 'class system' post TOS is some identifying mark on the neck, thought it is possible that they do not differentiate…
  • dang it all to heck, missed the fleet commander: The Praefecti ('Fleet commanders'): The command structure of the fighting men in the fleet was the same as in any legion. However, as the navy was considered to be an inferior service, it was considered beneath a Legate to command such a force; Legates were normally…
  • I agree with the above, perhapse it would be nice if they used something close to the Byzantine or Roman Naval Ranks? Afterall the Romulan word Praetor is pretty much just a title that is (or was rather) held by the Roman Emperors. Roman Naval Ranks from low to high (and i have omitted some): Cohors Classica ('A cohort…
  • I was going to post something, but i seem to have forgotten it  anyone else smell black sharpies?
