I took a number of Profile Pics of ships equipped with the full Dyson Set for you all to see!

Federation: Vesta, Akira, Constitution, Soverign, Defiant, Miranda, Oddysey, Luna, Nova, Chyenne, Excelsior, Deep Space Science Vessel, Intrepid, NX Replica, TOS Connie, Ambassador.


Klingons: Vo'Quv, Vod'Leh, Norgh, Kamarag, Hegh'ta, Vor'Cha, Marauder, B'rel, K'Tanco, Qorgh Raptor, Pach Raptor

    That looks like a better skin than most of the Federation ones they have come out with, I might have to pick it up for one of my romulan ships.

    edit: And it looks AMAZING on the KDF ships, much like the old Qonos 1 from "The Undiscovered Country" if I still played KDF I would totally get that!

    it looks......brown. and drab. am I missing anything? Is it better looking in game?

    Agreed, while the squiggly lines are sorta nifty and it's all one uniform color, the color itself is drab and meh for looks. Thnx for the pics though :cool:

    This is by far one of the coolest sets so far. (Chel Grett looks kind of dumb though)

    Thanks for posting those. The Fed-side ones look like yet another variation on grey, but finally the klingons get a change from brown, green, or Reman-glowy.

    Dyson set is beige with purple outlines? Yuck!

    I'm curious to see how that material type translates to a D'kyr?

    I'm pretty sure it's actually grey, not beige. It just looks beige in that light. The light at K7 is kind of yellow-brown.

    Yes, it really stands out on the non-Federation ships. And now I'm beginning to wonder who well some of the many unlockable color schemes from the Ace Combat games would work here...

    Guys, don't be so confused about the color. It's simply the Obelisk's hull material.

    Oh and having tried it out on tribble: It looks great on the Krenn class. Too bad the stats aren't that good for an escort.

    I'd LOVE if someone provided a pic of a Bortasqu' with the shield, if possible. That's what I fly on the KDF side and I'd like to see if it looks good on it.

    Exactly. If you want to see it in more natural light, I have a similar thread on Reddit, where a user posted a BortasQ in Dyson Sphere light.

    Also I love that you even bothered to put it on a mirranda and a connie. probably the only times that will ever happen. lol

    I would love to see how the Atrox looks with the set. The Chel Grett gives me hope.

    Sorry, I never liked how the Rommies handled in Closed Beta, so I will only make one once I have Lifetime.

    Did you nail these sneak peaks from Tribble? Cause if you have T5 Dyson on Holodeck you are a very hardcore grinder.:D

    Thanks OP for taking your time to give us a sneak peek :)

    The set looks cool, especially the shield, but it matters alot about the light and diferent effects activated from the video menu. If its too much light it will look white, but in space/sector space it looks diferent.

    Some posters felt disapointed about the looks and also requested rom ships.

    Got these beauty shots of a rom ship from trible, and IMO it looks totally badass:

    I think Cryptic needs to increase the specular levels on the textures, they look more like stone than metallic.
