Was rather useless to begin with. It would have afforded more functionality had we been able to fully utilize the DOFF and Admirality systems completely; based on last logout location of course. Nice idea, poor execution.
Can I ask "how" they are broken? From what I've seen when rocking a carrier or dreadnought the pets are doing their jobs when assigned... Maybe save for the recall command as that is a bit hit or miss.
Been noticing this a lot myself as well. My belief is that the recall command is being prematurely triggered after launch and partially completes, causing the pet (saucer, cheveron, vectors, et al) to disappear from gameplay. Ticket ID #4,280,719
Guess who's back? Back again? Skrub is back! Tell a friend. Guess who's back? Guess who's back? Guess who's back? Guess who's back? Guess who's back? Na na na naaaa
Yeah, that's if he's caught. The skrub is likely behind a proxy (or seven LOL) and has infiltrated numerous computers and turned them into zombie units to do his bidding. The most one can do is hand it off to the FBI, or Interpol if international, and hope for the best.
The launcher is affected by the connection to the server. Because we're in the middle of a DDoS right now it is likely that it'll appear weird or have something generic up.
Clearly you've bought into the usual lies that arrogant Mac-Users believe. Only reason why Windows is targeted is because of how wide-spread it is from the get-go. Not until a couple years ago have hackers begun targeting OS-X and the iOS platforms, and their security track-record has been horrendous. How's that…
Here's some food-for-thought: Mac would be a great operating system overall if it wasn't for Steve Job's paranoia and forcing the platform on hardware that is proprietary and subpar. It's a shame that this has to be done, but with everything being so severely closed-source I can understand the move behind it.
Looks like the little so-and-so is at it again for the umpteenth time. Might actually be time for the nuclear option of blanket-banning IP addresses regardless of civilian casualties.
