As I understand it, Borg technology varies from ship to ship. This is because each ship, or cube, builds what they need out of salvage from ships and things they assimilate. I haven't read this whole thread, but, I just wanted to say that I do not want to see all bosses get tougher. Maybe some things need to be tweaked, or maybe a better way for an individual to select difficulty setting.

Whether it's making the Phoenix boxes constantly available or making the omegas bound, the result is the same. The players who counted on selling Omegas to earn EC have just had their personal economy nerfed. This, in turn, has devalued the game for those players. This is not how to celebrate a ten year anniversary.

I love this idea, except for one word; singularity. I hate singularity cores. Personally, I like to play cruisers, so that's what I'd like to see.
