Another factor is you must have a ship slot open to get the ship. If all your current slot are filled, you can not get another ship. So if you have several of the non-reclaimable ships you end up buying ship slots, or not having room.

A quick fix might be to make a modified power setting. Click the view option for power bars (Wep/Shi/Eng/Aux) and select 3. This lets you modify all your settings. The one on the far right top is "Balanced". Make sure you select that, and then drag AUX and ENG to 25%. This should allow you to have 75% for WEP and SHI. Now…

Mask Energy Signature is the science ability that can "cloak" a ship that does not have a cloaking device. It decreases your EM signature, and darkens your ships visual appearance. That is the fun of these test weekends. You HOPE you got the needed requirements, but you never really know until they released the reward a few weeks later. So to clarify. There is no official way to see if you qualified for the rewards. Just wait and see if they show up after they annouce they have given the reward out.
