Far as I know, the only ships with enchanced battle cloak in STO are the high-tier BoP variants (Kor), the T5/T6 T'varo and variants (Malem, the romulan TOS promo ship), and the Faeht Intel Warbird. I have the Faeht myself, and the bug is annoying.
Yeah I get that. I just don't see Cryptic giving an already-decent model a pass when they could focus on other models that need it more (the Rhode Island, for instance). I could see the model being up for a rework in a few years once all the other models that need it quite a bit more are done.
Think most of the issue is you're using non-show sources. I'd suggest using images from the episode that the Dauntless is shown in - and only images from there. As salazar said, you've made an argument, but haven't backed it up with screenshots from the eipsode the ship is in (if I'm interpreting it right).
Snipped most of Duncan's reply cause I'm only responding to this bit. There has been a court case filed, actually, should be a response from CBS within the next few weeks (they have 20 days to reply). I think the case has little merit myself.
Might that be the Jem'Hadar 3-piece bonus? I know one of the bonuses from that set only works on Jem ships and the Galor. Edit: Yeah, the 1% chance to strip a buff when one is using polaron weaponry is the "Victory Is Life" bonus for the Jem'Hadar set.
I personally like the Samsar a bit, cosmetically. Gives off a "space battleship" feel when broadsiding for me, dunno why. It is a terrible ship if you ignore the sorta-useful core and universal console though. Not necessarily the best heal clicky anymore but it's still useful.
Being able to use the Time and Tide omni with the Home turret/omni is apparently unintended: https://www.reddit.com/r/sto/comments/8umgv0/homes_mission_reward_set_2pc_and_3pc_buffs/e1gmu7s/
https://www.reddit.com/r/sto/comments/8cxvob/star_trek_onlines_level_cap_increases_to_65/dxioust/ That's what kael said on reddit. He didn't confirm the ship list was limited to those of the vet token though.
It's doing that because you don't have the "Aegis Covariant Shield Array" equipped, which would round out the set. You have the Mk XII variant equipped. The game seems to think that they're part of different sets. Maybe upgrade the deflector and engine to mark XII as well?
Lifers have access to some ships, and a small experince boost, but as far as I know (as a fellow F2P myself), there's no advantage when it comes to damage or anything.
If you're using the tholian crystalline sword, why not use the shattering harmonics sword? I'm curious if there's really any difference between the two items. Either way, hope this gets fixed soon.
I use the Coalition Disruptors from the KSV if I don't intend to really put time into a build - just to have fun with a ship. A way to upgrade them to Mk XIV would be nice, but not necessary. I'll note I also use the phasers that come with the TOS connie for this purpose as well.
Sounds like you switched around the ability bars to move melee (the default 3rd ability of most of your guns) to the 1 spot, where primary fire normally is. You'll have to go into your list of abilities (top right of the hotkey bar) and manually put back the primary fire of you weapon into the slot. Hope this helps.
Did you try logging off and on again? Last few times I've gotten account-wide ships I've had to log off and log on again for the game to say it's an account unlock. Or delete the ship box and claim it from the account-wide store.
The Science Command Battlecruiser has been the way is has for quite a while (~3 years). You want a pure science ship, get something with SCIENCE VESSEL in the name. Science Command Battlecruiser just means a decently-maneuverable cruiser (meaning engineering-focused), with science leanings (LTC sci), and full-spec Command…
I've also seen instances of the Multivector console animation performing the deactivation effect sometimes (when the 3 vectors merge into the bigger ship), as well as the Fed Dyson Science Destroyer performing the Tac-to-Sci animation (when you deactivate tactical mode) playing while still flying in Tac mode. Sounds along…
"Days subscribed" means the amount of days you've been subscribed to STO. Meaning that you've been paying the $15/month for a subscription, NOT playing the game. The LTS (lifetime sub) just unlocks all the vet rewards immediately (along with the normal benefits of subscribing to STO).
