They've not said what ships specifically will be available yet, other than that we will be able to take them to t5u. From what I've seen on tribble I don't think folks will be disappointed.

For Feds/temporal agents T5 Defiant, T5 Voyager, T5 Galaxy
For Klingons T5 B'rel, T5 Maruader, T5 Kar'fi
For Romulans T5 Mogai, T5 Dhelan, T5 D'D
For Jem'hadar ??? My bet is T5 Jem'hadar Carrier, T5 Jem'hadar Escort Carrier like they have in the Vanguard Pack. Possibly these might be a 61 level choice for other factions too, but it might not.
So you pay for the vanguard pack get some t5 jem'hadar ships and then they give you a token on level up to get the same ships for free? doesn't really make sense.
T5 Jem'Hadar ships is character-wide (account-wide) unlock, for all your characters, I believe.
So your other characters may be tempted to buy a T5U ship upgrade module.
For your specific Cardassian/Jem'Hadar character, you may consider to use that T5U ship upgrade module for your T5 Jem'Hadar ship.
So you pay for the vanguard pack get some t5 jem'hadar ships and then they give you a token on level up to get the same ships for free? doesn't really make sense.
==> I will vote with my wallet here; I refuse to buy the Gamma Vanguard Pack, because all its T6 ships are not account-wide ship unlock, until Cryptic forces you to play that ship to T6 Ship Mastery Unlock.
==> So what is next, each and every upcoming T7 ships have T7 Ship Master Unlock before character-wide (account-wide) ship unlock takes effect?
This T6 Jem'Hadar ship lock-out from all characters applies to these proposed ships for the Gamma Vanguard Pack:
a) T6 Jem’Hadar Vanguard Raider (requires T6 Ship Master Unlock for account-wide ship availability)
b) T6 Jem’Hadar Vanguard Dreadnought Cruiser (requires T6 Ship Master Unlock for account-wide ship availability)
c) T6 Jem’Hadar Vanguard Warship (requires T6 Ship Master Unlock for account-wide ship availability)

I'll point out that most t5 and t6 ships are only usable for characters of their faction, these ships ultimately give you more value for money.
And let's be honest, it's not that hard to reach Master, even for three ships.

Maybe I wasn't clear. At level 61 we'll receive a t5 ship token and an upgrade token. lordgyor suggested that the dominion faction might get the t5 JHDC and JHEC as choices for that token. I was a little perturbed by the idea that they'd devalue the vanguard pack immediately on release by giving those ships away freely at the same time.. that makes little sense to me. The vanguard pack is already fairly light on content compared to previous expansion packs.
So for the more seasoned users, we're basically getting a token for a ship which we already possess? What then? Perhaps for those cases, unlocking a T5u ship-skin customization only would help or a ship of the user's choice? It feels like 60 to 65 for more seasoned users rewards minimal to nothing ship-wise.

That is partly midigated by the fact that all are end game ships and all are cross faction.
So for example KDF characters got 2 ships from the Delta pack, feds I think got 5, and Romulans got 1. With the Vanguard Pack KDF will get 8, Romulan will have 8, Jem'hadar will have 8, and Fed will have 8, because all are ultimately cross faction.

Assuming of course that the Vanguard pack represents the entirety of the playable DOM ship offerings and that a company called Cryptic isn't holding onto further details for, say, a major blog post detailing the Jem'Hadar faction.
The Vanguard pack contains all Dominion ships with one notable exception. Safe money is that it's T5 version or a new derivative of the Bug ship is the default Jem'Hadar offering.

1. A developer incentivizing new content, who would have thought it?
2. Cryptic has no plans to introduce T7 in the foreseeable future. It may eventually happen but we're probably looking on a timescale of years, if at all. "What is next?" More T6 ships and new specs. The system is modular, they can keep adding onto it ad infinitum.

This is what happens with the ships available to the other factions. There's a difference between one you get via token and one you get via C-store, though. The token ship is one-time, single-character, and is lost if you dismiss it. The C-store version is always and forever for any eligible character.
Also, remember that everybody who *doesn't* buy the Vanguard pack still gets this level 61 freebie.

It should come with a warning so players who haven used said token know that its lost if you dismiss it.

They can also do more stuff like do x and get another ship mastery slot, or T6U, or create new forms of equiptment like they did with Secondary Deflector and Experimental Weapon.
They could come out with 2/2 weapon Carriers with 3 hangar bays, more Cardassian/Jem'hadar ships, perchasable bridges that have more function to them and a benifit.
Some ideas to make different types of ships more interesting Data Core equiptment slot, turn Cloak into an equiptment slot, terraforming ships, bridge equiptment slot, crew equiptment slot, and so much more.

Currently this doesn't happen with ships from other factions. You don't get a t5 unless it's from a paid sub or bought from the cstore. A few of them were also part of a giveaway at some point, which you had to be around for.
So a guy buys a sub, get a t5 token, then buys the vanguard pack where part of the price includes two t5 ships, then at level 61 everyone who hasn't paid gets those same ships too. Why did the first guy pay? I'm not actually salty, just doesn't seem even to me.
One way I can see them mitigating it is by having the JHAS available as one of the t5 token choices. Feds, KDF and Roms get to pick from three ships for a t5 token, so it makes some sense that the Dominion faction might get three choices too. t5 JHDC, JHEC and also the JHAS
This way a Sub can use the Vet token on his Jem'Hadar toon to grab a t5 JHDC, and use his level 61 token on a bugship to give it frigate pets.
And the guy that bought the vanguard pack.. his Jem'Hadar toon gets the 2 paid t5's and at level 61 gets to choose the JHAS to complete the set and give his carriers frigate pets.
It could also mean there will be no default ship for the expansion. A Jem'Hadar starts at level 60 and does the first mission which gets him to 61, then his default option for a ship is what he can pick with the level 61 token.. no need to include an extra freebie

Some of us think the T5 bug ship is going to be the starter ship for the Jem'hadar faction.
I like your train of thoughts. This could be the thing. Wonder if we'd get a free character slot with ViL.
A commonly asked question and if past experience is to be judged by then most likely we'll get a free slot.
"You don't want to patrol!? You don't want to escort!? You don't want to defend the Federation's Starbases!? Then why are you flying my Starships!? If you were a Klingon you'd be killed on the spot, but lucky for you.....you WERE in Starfleet. Let's see how New Zealand Penal Colony suits you." Adm A. Necheyev.
The general train of guessing is that there'll be a recruitment event for jem's at somepoint after ViL comes out and if it follows the path of previous ones there'll be a character slot added then.

That's what kael said on reddit. He didn't confirm the ship list was limited to those of the vet token though.
