Experimental Weapon damage boosts

Hey i just wanted to know which items (as in consoles, space sets etc) boost the various experimental weapons.

Some are kinetic, some electrical etc etc. My assumption is that torpedo damage and projectile damage wouldn't work on railgun etc as its not slotted in the fore and aft weapon slots. Not sure if ion projector is boosted by exotic damage boosters or not, THINK it is.

The iconian console boosts all weapon damage but does that mean "weapons" or "weapons and experimental weapons" (as in just things that slot into the weapons slots, or also experimental weapons and even consoles like point defense etc)

Any clarification would be great.
Currently I've the railgun, flakshot and hyper excited lightning ion one

    Per the wiki there's nothing that boosts those weapons. I think it's WAI.

    Working as intended.
    This program, though reasonably normal at times, seems to have a strong affinity to classes belonging to the Cat 2.0 program. Questerius 2.7 will break down on occasion, resulting in garbage and nonsense messages whenever it occurs. Usually a hard reboot or pulling the plug solves the problem when that happens.

    That makes zero sense. Why make them different types, kinetic, electrical etc if they're boosted by nothing whatsoever?

    The Voice of the Prophets is boosted by Attack Pattern Alpha, so generic damage sources will boost experimental weapon damage.

    if something says it boosts all damage, it boosts ALL damage - no exceptions; if you find an exception, it's a bug​​

    So basically find the one that's either the biggest number, or the prettiest as it's all arbitrary? That sucks. Was hoping to find some decent electrical boosters for a science escort

    Yes, that is the case, for now.

    And, of course, ones you "pay for" is better than the free one given out to the rest of us. And looks "better" I suppose...but I haven't used any others so I am not sure.

    Alright thanks everyone, I'll see if i can find a list on the wiki that shows list of "all damage" boosts to see if anything would work well in builds

    I dont think we have a page just for "All damage" boosts. ..Most players dont focus on the Experimental weapons buffs (no more than Sci ship users focus on boosting radiation damage from the Secondary Deflectors) ..Most Focus for the Primary weapons like Cannons, Beam,Projectiles or Exotics.

    Ion projector is not Exotic weapon as its does meet the characteristics.It is an Energy weapon..Most exotics have at least 50% shield Pen and are boosted by EPG points and Aux power (Many need all 3)...An example Exotic Electrical damage would be like: Isometric Discharge Array or the Isometric Charge or Drain Infection.
    if something says it boosts all damage, it boosts ALL damage - no exceptions; if you find an exception, it's a bug​​

    feedback pulse doesn't, and never did, boost all damage - even the trait doesn't; it boosts its own damage, critical chance and critical severity...that's it​​

    odin forever, i just need to look at say
    Tetryon beam array, photon torpedo and maybe gravity well. It States what boosts the damage
    Sticky web plus teteoyon damage
    Xx console boosts cannon damage
    Xx all damage

    This is why i got confused
    It said exotic damage was all damage not caused by weapons directly. So boff abilities. Radiation procs etc
    And I'm pretty sure I've read that some things boost all weapon damage

    So if experimental weapon isn't boosted by "all weapon damage" boosts that makes it surely not a weapon in this case and so exotic damage? For example, this new alliance hypercannon is implied to be all 3 main faction energy types. Implied key word. Also says it has plasma exotic proc. So speculating here IF it's all 3 energy types you're saying they'd not be boosted by say alternate timeline set, exotic particle generators, quantum phase console etc?

    I can't find the notes I made so i may just be misrecalling the things I've read

    No no no..It WAS boosted BY all damage..er..it used to be..before the great nerf..

    Experimental Weapons are infact ..Weapons..and as Previously mention..Boosted by stuff that is All Damage..

    As for the Exotic Plasma..That is a standard proc on most forms of Plasma weapons..and guess what..its 100% shield pen..but a tiny DoT...
