Matter of fact the OP does speak for the majority here (Germany) since everybody in our German fleet got lags, not a single one not complaining. Even on the German Facebook page theres almost only lag complainments. It seems to slowly get better tho, patch by patch.
Just did an ISA run. Me and a friend were lagging harder than ever before right from the start. Lag in ESD Orbit too. One guy in the ISA run seemed to play lag free tho. Connection to server timeout also shows up occassionally.
I don't have login issues apart from the launcher screen sometimes taking ages to fully load up until I can press the engage button. Sometimes itz there in a milisecond and mostly in the evening (GMT+2 / 7-10pm) I can see it getting slower and stuttering. Next time this happens I'll trace those adresses. I'm from Germany…
Still having the same problems after yesterdays patch. It was like yesterday after the patch it was fine and today itz back to "normal" again. :( -DX11 crashes -FPS drops on some maps -Laaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaag
I really liked this one, felt kinda refreshing apart from the standard soup. The previous iconian epsidode I didn't like at all: go to point X kill mob X over and over again.
@shurato2099 I understand it could be difficult, I understand it could be outside Cryptics reach and whatnot. I don't know how long you have experienced lags but the timeframe I do is redicoulous. And theres no statement about it whut causes it other than "we're investigating" and even this statement came way too late.…
So are we gonna get an official statement about the lags or what? My guess ist that Cryptic doesn't have enough computing power nor bandwith. Itz all about the money.
@voivodje What Kind of logic is that? A way more fitting example would be: You buy a fast new car but can't use it cause the roads are blocked. You don't even know for sure itz a ISP problem where's your prove? And yes itz Cryptic's game but it USES INTERNET.
Let's not turn this into a graphical technical support thread this about to make noise to get an official statement since the game is unplayable for many people or say roughly playable. If someone want help with their cards or advice pm me or post in the support forum. I ll try and get everyone I know that has those…
@alcyoneserene it is higly unlikely for a game to fry your hardware. Not giving you the blame but unless you tried some fix that changes the voltage, frequencies or bios, which I doubt I guess the card would have died either way which just makes it a warranty case and bad luck for you.
Thank you all for the constructive feedback so far. It is getting clearer and clearer that we are dealing with serious issues right here and not by few by many. Please keep it coming. POST YOUR FEEDBACKS REGARDING THOSE ISSUES.
I'd like to add to this, that it started for me with Delta Rising and then the same as above. Prior to Delta Rising I had ZERO ISSUES with latency related stuff. Just the common delay of like 200-300ms from EU to US which is not avoidable unless there was a Holodeck EU.
@richardcranium63 thx for the advice but unfortunately I know what I'm doing and I tried everything to nail it down to a driver incompatibility with just this game and DX11 on all the new Radeon drivers starting December 2014. Maybe it affects only R9 290 cards this I don't know. The latest beta driver fixes the visual…
