Because Cryptic is incapable of changing their minds, previous courses, or absolute rules... To be fair, you're probably right. But you shouldn't apply their previous statements/behaviors as absolute rules.
The last time I had looked them up Amazon had wanted something like $14.00 on Kindle, but they've dropped to below $8.00, so I will be reading them. To the guy arguing for Romulans being better developed, It's not that the Romulans aren't interesting, they are very interesting. However to say they are far better developed…
^^^^^^^THIS^^^^^^^ Also, DS9 was a Cardassian space Station. Which appeared in nearly every episode of DS9. Even counting the soft-canon novels people under 45 will most likely never have the chance to read, the Cardassians are far more developed than the leering bad guys that were the Romulans.
Jesus Christ this took a dark turn... I like Flight Deck Carriers myself. The fighters can be useful for screening stuff on interceptor mode. And I prefer plastic hangers at home.
Guess you didn't see the DS9 episodes about the genetically modified people... Didn't turn out so well, and much like 21st Century America, the general public was sheltered from those individuals. (Messed up, but there you go.)
Meh, I'd make her work. I only run Normal STFs, so I'm sure she'd be fine. Just like her outline, crew size, and loved my Mirror Retrofit while I was rocking her pre-DR on a different Tactical Toon.
Speak for yourself buddy. Personally I made 90 million EC this weekend from selling Kemocite II and a Plasmionic Leach with only mild price undercutting. This funded a whole new weapons array for my DSD and my fiance's D'Kyr. And consoles for both. If people wouldn't pay hilariously high prices for lucky pulls, I'd never…
I thought House of Pegh was ok, enjoyed the last two FEs far more. On the upside Spoiler the Forgettable's end was amusing to me. Worthy of a very dumb Opera at the least. (Is there any other kind?) Cam, (or would you prefer Sarcasm Detector?) where are you from? There is something familiar about your speaking voice, and I…
If the leaks are accurate... (of course they are but I throw that in for someone's Internet spaz-attack which always happens whenever someone comments on this kind of thing,) it looks like the designers of the Regent Assault Cruiser and the Avenger Battlecruiser met up at Club 47, drank too much together, and figuratively…
Ok. That's fair. Though perhaps in context of the flame war that keeps re-igniting on the subject that would be good to make absolutely clear. Anyway it seemed like Trek to me: Techno babble: check Terrible Tactics/Strategy: check Spaceship Battles: check Lore heavy(ish): check If you're bemoaning the lack of exploration,…
What did you think would happen? Seriously given the wider context of what's currently set the forums aflame why would you bring up 'Infinite Diversity in Infinite Combinations' if not to make a statement one way or another?
Aren't people always complaining about this game not being 'Star Trek' enough? Because I'd argue challenging people's views and prejudiced notions is pretty 'Trek.' I point to the episodes about Black-White and White-Black face aliens, Bajoran Creationism being taught or not taught in a Federation school on a Bajoran space…
Was IDIC ever something shown on the shows beyond the symbol? Also the one thing incompatible with IDIC/Tolerance is Intolerance, which seems like a paradox.
Also as much as I like the Jaffa and the Stargate Franchise, gotta give the battle to Klingons or the Jem'Hadar. They're better armed and used to doing more than terrorizing Bronze Age peasants for most of their military careers. (I mean, I'm sure they do that too...)
I think it's an evolutionary weakness called "lack of main cast plot armor." I'm sure scores of the "off-screen" offshoot of humanity have been 'Bane'd' by Klingon warriors.
How did a thread about the pre-level 50 leveling curve get so big? I will say this to the post-level 60 leveling, once you have a couple of filled out trees leveling gets much easier with your increased abilities. At least that's been my observation.
