I thought House of Pegh was ok, enjoyed the last two FEs far more. On the upside Spoiler the Forgettable's end was amusing to me. Worthy of a very dumb Opera at the least. (Is there any other kind?)

Cam, (or would you prefer Sarcasm Detector?) where are you from? There is something familiar about your speaking voice, and I assume it's an accent I recognize.

Ellijah and Cookie-Cupcakes, good luck with your new Podcast.

I'm living in Ontario, Canada at the moment; but my accent is due to living in a few different places around the word (and speaking 3 languages).

@Borticus: Minus the 15 minutes intro (dedication and prelude) and the 15 minute blooper reel at the end, the show is 30 minutes. it should be ok for you to press play. :D

I've been reading the IDW comics from the start, and while some of the stories are "meh", some are actually pretty epic. A few of my favorites:

Countdown (the story in the prime timeline[which STO is in] that tells the Nero/Spock story before they went through the black hole)

Khan (a prequel/sequel to "Into Darkness" where Khan is tried in Federation court for his crimes, and explains his origin story and what he was doing prior to the movie, including why he looks different)

The Q Gambit (the "new" crew meets Q and Sisko punches Kirk!)

I've actually been able to pick up most of the trade paperbacks on Amazon for 1 cent each(plus shipping). Just a FYI in case anyone is interested and has a few extra pennies lying around :P

After hearing him over the past few weeks on the show, and his other ventures, I'm looking forward to SarcasmDetector's first interview with Geko. :)

Also, the disdain in Elijah's voice over Aron Eisenberg's "uh, I have a Mac" comment... as a Mac player of this game, it made me smile in it's hatred of Apple. :D Best of luck, Cookie and Elijah.

Whenever you guys get a girl they end up leaving.
But the guys seem to stay one for years.
Should I start posting again after all this time?

Don't worry. Cookie's not going very far. She and I are working on a new production due out later this summer.

I totally missed that cookie was leaving too, I only saw your announcement. I thought she would be doing both podcasts.

    *sad Gav*

Once again though, good luck to you both on the new podcast.

The blooper reel is my favorite part of the show. For this show we could have done a 30 minute show and 1 hour blooper reel... there where a lot of funny bits that got left on the cutting room floor.

...and yes we where pissing ourselves laughing through out the whole show. right from the start to the very end.

Don't worry though, both Cookie and Elijah are still around. Elijah is still producing the show, and cookie is on reserve in case any of us can't make it to the recording.

I have enjoyed you on the show. But you're not nearly as enthusiastic as cookie is with everything she says. She always sounds like she's about to crack up laughing. You sound serious most of the time.

Ya the bloopers at the end are great. I'm really glad those are included.

Good show, as always. I was listening while driving, almost drove off the road with laughter during the prelude when Elijah called out "WHERE ARE ALL MY BRIDGE OFFICERS?!?"

I, too, was suprised to hear that Cookie was leaving. I was preparing myself for Elijah's departure, but Cookie? I guess, since you are both hosting the new show, it makes sense, but I totally missed that fact. Good luck to you both, I'm sure I'll give the new show a listen.

I'm glad to see you bring back the "official" thread here in the forums. I thought it seemed a bit odd for a podcast that does it's best to serve and represent the STO community not to have an intentional presence in the forums for the community. I disagree with Elijah's viewpoint that online forums are a dying format, but recognize the troubles that arise with threads such as this. Anyways, thanks for bringing the P1 presence back to the STO forums.

And here I though your happy voice sounded like Orihime...

Yeah, thanks to Orangitis for that auditory image...

To be fair, his real voice coming out of Orihime's mouth might be just as hilarious.

Ok , so it's not Mark Valentine , not Nimoy , and not Whitney .
Well that and startrek.com has no obituary news .

Sooo ... , for whom the bell tolls ?

Also ... ^^ point of irony from someone who got his claim to (sto) fame -- and later his current job .

    I liked the show.

And while i think the cast did a good job, a change in personnel isn't a bad thing either. It's a change and mixing things up now and then can be fun just by itself.

I'll be stocking up on torches and pitchforks either way. There is never a shortage of haters. :P
