I agree. I like having an stf that is both not annoying and helps ease the rep mark grind.

You will never catch Cryptic building a custom ship according to the meta. In fact, you won't find most devs doing that in their games. They know you figured out how to get max damage, its just boring. If Cryptic cared what min/maxers thought they would delete cannons from the game and stick a plasmonic leech on every ship…

Neverwinter already does this, so I see no reason for it not to exist in STO.

Every person I have personally spoken with in game were really cool. The few that were sour were usually mad that an advanced stf failed. I have seen minor toxicity arise from discussions that attempt to tell another player how they should build a ship, as if there is only one right way.

Quite true. I suppose id just rather something less mundane being in its place. Perhaps something that I couldn't do right this second.

I think you could have said that with less words. "be less judgmental" To be fair, reducing these activities to mini games within a game is what I really have a problem with. The winter event was perfectly fine, but sandcastles and dancing... I don't know man.

Id argue you should feel silly building sand castles period.

So which weapons tend to be the best? I usually use reputation guns because most of them aren't horrible looking, but I've never considered their quality versus other weapons.

Every reward from that mission upgrades for free with the exception of the generic antiproton rewards.

You need to buy the entire omega set to unlock those options. Armor/shield/gun.

I wonder if they intend to revoke access to the Plesh Brek and Chel Grett in the future. Not complaining, just wondering.

I cant get excited until these fixes affect a relevant stf, like one that awards bnp. Do you guys think they started with a Q that only awards normal marks on purpose?

What does DPS mean to a player who cannot see said DPS? What program(s) are people supposed to use to accurately record dps?

Oh really? I had no idea other people could train your bridge officers. Thanks for the build advice. Any thoughts on the singularity core question? I know the one I am using is the wrong one, but which would be better?

The particular place he said he was crashing is the exact same place I crashed. Once I removed said files, the crashes went away completely. So I just assumed that we both had similar files in that folder. If you are crashing in other places, then it's unrelated to what I'm talking about.

Hmm, how can I say this. Check your Steam\SteamApps\common\Star Trek Online\Star Trek Online\Live\localdata. If there is anything other than gameprefs.pref in that folder, take it out. If this means nothing to you then ignore me.

You need to stop using that thing I know you are using, and it'll stop crashing. Wait for a fix.

In most cases, I do not even feel a need to post here, as I am mostly happy with the game as a casual who has no intention of doing elite queues. However, the skill tray is maddening, and I really don't understand how this fix is not at the top of Cryptic's list. Bugs that present themselves every time you change zones…
