Planet explosion isn't terrifying enough visually. I was talking more of a face-to-face kind of terror (like the Borg or Aliens), within the confine of ESRB Teen rating of course. Maybe showing us how the Iconians order Elachis to assimilate? Or convert us into batteries like the Matrix?
Here is what I think in short: 1. The mission is all right, although a bit too easy (even with elite difficulty) 2. M'Tara's dialogue is weak. Her threats feel empty and dull 3. The Iconian threat does not feel severe enough (compares to Reapers in the Mass Effect universe, if you know what I mean)
I like your ideas and I wish Cryptic will implement them. However, a ship has its own uniform seems odd to me. I can't imagine if every ship in the Starfleet has it's own uniform, it just doesn't make sense.
Good point. Adventure zones will be great; smaller representation is acceptable; and dead planets are the least desirable. Some repeatable missions on the iconic worlds might work. We can run errands there and not necessarily involving combats. If possible, maybe collect their reputation points and exchange for rewards.
The current Odyssey uniform is great, there is no need to change. RR uniform can use a color guide from Cryptic. Yes this thread is better at the Art of STO.
The visual filter will change other players' uniform & ship appearances to default. In other words they will look like NPCs when the visual filter is on. It shouldn't be difficult for the devs. Feds = Odessy, KDF = Botasqu (?), Romulan Republic = RR1 or RR2.
