The fourth console is not ingame. From STOWiki - "In a late 2024 patch on PC, a console called Console - Universal - Hullweave became part of the Deadly Maneuvers set, although such a console is not available from any in-game source."
I do not think so. Rather, because the promo image also showed other varieties of cats, people are hoping there will be some way of getting those as well.
While a character is part of a fleet each new ship they add to their roster will also add an entry in the Activity Log for the fleet (look under the News option on the home page for the Fleet dialog) with a Stardate and an Entry that reads: [Character Name] has been given command of the [Ship Name] Hope that helps
I will no doubt be chastised for suggesting conspiracy theories, but it has the ring of a stealth change in policy to extend the delay period before the restricted coupons apply in the hope no one notices, or, that they are picking and choosing which ships are released from the lockout when. It might be nice if we had some…
The answer to your question is unfortunately simple - the former requires actual development time, the latter requires nothing more than not adding any more singularity cores to the game.
Someone mentioned in chat that they had been told by Support that the restricted T6 coupons can now only be used on ships that are at least 2 years old - hence the 13th Anniversary ships not being available yet using one, for example. Apparently the T6 Dyson ships are bugged, which is why you can use one on them.
The Kumaarke does not count - only the Risa Winter/Summer kit modules have an element type so far (they all have 'This is an TRIBBLE Elemental Kit Module' in the description when you use the 'More Details' option to examine them).
It's just the old bug where the game forgets to switch your character's skin to your current ship from your ground skin - you can make out the little character model floating in the middle of the picture.
I believe they might have originally intended it to end at 7 for the event, since the first Accolade is awarded after finishing round 7, and in some of the promotional material it was listed as 7 rather than 12. Of course, it is also entirely possible they just copy-pasted from articles (and code) for Sompek before…
No - there was once a sale that had 75% off on the Ship Bundles some years ago, I think it might have been an Anniversary or Christmas sale. As far as I know it has never been repeated.
Here is a list of all kit modules I could find with an Element attached - note that the only ones categorised as such appear to be from the two event stores (I checked some obvious standard modules such as Exothermic Induction Field and Solar Gateway, but none were marked with an Element). They are broken down by Element,…
Although, the Jam Subspace Transmissions kit description makes no mention of affecting allies, only enemies, unless of course it is... bugged! But that could never happen :)
Did anyone notice that in the articles leading up to this TFO and event, the number of rounds you would have to complete kept changing from 7 to 12? It's also interesting that the one accolade that we have from the new TFO so far is granted at round 7. My guess is that the event version was originally planned at 7 rounds,…
Heh, had another wipe on 12 - that mobile mound followed us into the spawn area again, but we managed to wear it down a little quicker this time. Fire and forget AOE like V'ger Probes helped again when you only get a few seconds before it whacks you, and luckily a few had Agony Field as well. Of course just as we finished…
The worst run I've had so far saw the entire team one-shot killed right at the start of round 12 (as it happens I had also seen the damage immunity crop up earlier in the run as well, physical damage again but this time with Leck's knives) - this was after the latest patch as well. The problem we had trying to get back in…
I found a site with reasonable images of the ships from Dominion Wars: https://gaming.trekcore.com/dominionwars/ships.html I cannot quite make my mind up about the JH 'Super Carrier' - but the Cardassian 'Hutet' looks ok from the one image available, although it does describe it as the largest ship in the Alpha Quadrant…
It is actually fairly easy to achieve, at least for weapons - when you claim an item, equip it to the Boff first, reclaim and equip each Boff in turn, and do your actual character last. For example, I use this to equip new alts and there Boff teams all with 3 part Imperial armor (weapon, shield, armor) all the time. The…
Laser heat sinks? The 'mech scale Flamer (and for that matter the larger Plasma Rifle) is a plasma weapon. Various fluff from Sarna.net: "Introduced in 2025, the standard Flamer taps into a BattleMech's reactor to produce heat in the form of a plasma release." "Plasma weapons use the power of the fusion engine or power…
If they can do enough to keep the 'whales' interested and spending, then STO should be able to survive for a while yet even in maintenance mode under DECA.
From the PC Gamer article about the layoffs, DECA Games is a games-as-a-service publisher that operates as part of the Embracer Group, focusing primarily on mobile games. Probably not the best custodian for an MMO of STO's nature. Also, many (perhaps even most) live service mobile games tend to get shut down within a…
Now that the news of layoffs is official, and that Cryptic is moving under DECA Games (DECA Games is a games-as-a-service publisher that operates as part of the Embracer Group, focusing primarily on mobile games), are we allowed to discuss it in General Discussion or do we have to go to Ten Forward? Since this directly…
