I launched the game in safe mode and windowed. Was able to get in and then set my graphics setting. So far working fine.

The devs announced on Twitter that they have a fix for some. I guess I'm one of the folks it won't work on. Force verified and it updated, but same issue AGAIN.

Same issue here. Guess I can go use the time I alotted for STO to go play more of something else. Since the crash happened to me the night before last, I am on day 2 of no access to the game server.

Same here, either Steam, Arc, or direct from launcher. "Unable to authenticate: Connection to the account server timed out". Devs monitoring this thread (I hope)?

You could go into the game menu to Options -> Keybinds -> space keybinds and assign a key to Camera Target Lock. I did this for when the bug happens to me (The game cannot keep up with the tight fast turns).

I gave up after 3 tickets and multiple postings. I stopped spending money on the game, as it is becoming increasingly painful to play it. I do not have this issue with other games, only ones on Cryptic's servers.

Fug-ly. It has a "You flew here in that? You're braver than I thought" kind of vibe to it. Personally, I like my shrooms on my pizza, in my salad, sauteed, or raw, not in my tech. Definite pass on this one.

I will be going on sabbatical when Awakening launches. I need a break anyways, and though I like shrooms, spore drive tech gives me a meh. (Planning to be on only to complete endeavors and refine dil.) Other than that, have fun.

Yes, there is no "feeling" of lag....THERE IS LAG! Now, that being said, when is this tribble going to be improved? And no, we don't want our feelings on it lessened, we as players would like to see the issue lessened.

I have to wonder which Elachi ship they are going to have for the grind, and if it will be equipped to justify the grind. Might upset quite a few players who either purchased with Lobi or bought on the exchange, if it carries the same items.

Yup, as soon as you hit Akamai Technologies the latency spikes. I think it is load balancing that is the issue, as they are the cloud provider that Cryptic has hired for content delivery (the games). They must be pretty cheap price wise for Cryptic to continue using them. I hope someone is reading this, but I doubt they…

I also am having server time outs. Server was laggy this morning with rubberbanding. All my other online games are fine.
